i'm so jealous you're so lucky! i dont trust myself to get seth in bed with me to BF, i'd fall asleep :o i barely trust myself to feed in a chair some nights!

That is why I am so glad my MW made me do it! You can breastfeed in bed safely and even if you do fall asleep there is practically no chance of you going near seth.

I would speak to someone about it - it really has made my life so much easier.

I fall asleep with Benjamin often now!! We love our naps together :D

Is it only full term babies whose skin flakes off? Neither of mine had this

No room in my tiny little 2 bedroom house for a fancy chair sadly, barely room for a cot! I've started panicing at just how little room we actually have, and due to the price crash, we don't want to move (cos we don't want a huge morgage swallowing up all our holiday and fun money). What would kids prefere though, 3 to a bedroom for a few years and a holiday plus outings at the weekends or a bedroom each?

NMS, that nursery is awesome!!! I love the walls, very creative :T

MFD, I once fell asleep one morning next to DS1, cuddling him and woke up with him screaming. I had been dreaming about crushing a can of coke and had been squeezing his wrist!!! So I started screaming and howling and DH woke up wondering whta the hell was going on. It's put me off co-sleeping, I can't even sleep if they are ill and in bed next to me, I am awake all night. Will have a chat to mw about it though as anything to help bf is worth it.

My back hurts like mad, but it's my own fault. DH t cutted and polished his bonnet, so to be one better I went and hoovered, washed, rinsed, t cutted and polished the whole of my car (and its a megane estate so not small). Had to cut off all my long nails though after using the t cut :( But my car is shiny shiny!!!

Oh and DH has been a good boy, while I bathed and bedded the kids, he put a washing on, tidied living room and mopped downstairs :T clever feller.

Elle - you have my sympathy, I'm really aching - doesn't help I'm trying to do things as I would before, forgetting I'm preggers! I really need a hot bath to ease all the aches and to have my bath oil in, the skin on my legs is really dry - it will have to wait to tomorrow :( if BG get the part!

Thankyou :) And you have mine too - our boiler died and we were without hot water for weeks. My parents got used to me dashing to their house for a shower/long soak in the bath! :D Tonight is definitely a Radox bath night!

OH keeps nagging me to dig out the Bio Oil.. no stretchmarks yet, but I can't keep winging it much longer!

I've not posted for a few days. Not really having a good time of it.

I started spotting brown the other day, so I went to the hosp. They confirmed my Beta HCG as 183, which they were happy with and told me to go back to gynae on Sat. I did, and my repeat beta showed the level had risen, but only to 276. I have to go back tomorrow for another Beta and a scan. The doctors seemed to think the other day that it couldn't be ectopic (I have none of the physical symptoms), but the slow rise of my HCG is obviously a worry for that, or for a m/c.

The brown spotting is still there, but it's still only when I wipe (excuse the TMI). I'm so frightened.

Oh Annie I hope all is well. this happened to my friend and even though her HCG was rising she did lose her baby so I really hope that won;t happen to you.

Do let us know how you are. Big, big hugs. :A

With DS1 I had no stretch marks up till week 34, when in hospital my bump suddenly got itchy as hell. I would stand in the toilet with a green hand towel in each hand and scratch my bump, it was pure bliss.... then I noticed all these 'scratches' appearing that turned out to be stretch marks! So don't scratch that itch!!!!!!

Does having had stretchmarks in the past make you more suceptible (that word again - still can't spell it!) to getting them again? I put on a fair bit of weight quickly when I went on the Pill when I was 16 and ended up with them on my hips. Never got them on my boobs even though they ballooned too though!

AnnieM - Hope all turns out well xxx

I was flicking through a book at the scan place yesterday and learnt that ectopic doesn't just mean in the tube it can also be only just out of the tube, in the ovary or just above the cervix as well, I would think that with the one near cervix there wouldn't be the pain usually associated with ectopic but thats just my assumption.

I have my fingers tightly crossed for you tho! x
I like that is can easily be wiped!
Elle, why did it make you feel sick? Think I need to find our nearest, largest Mothercare
    BFx
You will probably find that there are only big mothercares now, they have been closing down all the small ones for a few years now
but I have had a go off one of those chairs and loved it - as did chris :D he loves my mum's canadian rocking chair too, sits on it saying "see saw see saw"
I get travel sick easily but no sickness on the glider chair tho

haha seths skin isnt too bad now, its mostly flaked off i think! it was mainly his hands and feet but now his fingers and palms and toes are all nice and soft. i must confess i've been "helping" the peeling process a teeny bit if theres a big flake :o i'm such a horrible person lol
I'm one of those weird people that like picking and I used to help Chris's flakes along too :o these days I have to pick his bogies - nice! :rotfl:

Tia - yes its mainly overdue babies that have dry skin due to lack of vernix

I think so elle, sorry! I had them on my breasts because they grew overnight to a C cup. And unfortunatly there isn't much you can do to stop them, the oils only really make them faint instead of purple. Still worth rubbing some in though. Second time I didn't get any, but then I had lost a lot of weight during that pregnancy die to hyper emesis and had him earlier. Will probably get fresh ones this time.
