Can't wait for my 20-week scan, not 'til June though, ages away! Not sure if DH will come, time to work on him! (see post last night, page 171!) Think he'll be more switched on to the idea of one more bean when he sees it on the scan.
Last time he said he didn't want to know gender, but when radiographer asked, he said 'go on, then'. SB, good luck with scan later, hope it's pink for you, & thanks for FB cancellation if you saw post last night.
Feeling rather fat today, even though scales say I've not put on any weight in the last couple of months. Can't fasten some of trousers now, at any time of day, so wardrobe options down. Might buy a couple of pairs of cheap stretchy trousers of some sort for the next couple of months. I'll be big through the summer (due 16 Oct), so looking out for summer mat clothes in sales now. We've got a Mamas & Papas factory shop near us, so will have a look there too.
Toddler in bed, but prob not for long, so off to sort cross stitch mags to freecycle - see you all later.

Not good arguing girls.
My grandparents are Polish and have lived in the UK for 60 years or so and my dad speaks fluent Polish.
Every country has its good and bad - Poland as well as the UK.Proud mother of twin boys - double the trouble and twice the pleasure! :T0 -

I dont think its because he/she is polish. I think its because he/she is arrogant. Not saying that Polish people are arrogant. I used to work with a polish guy and he was lovely and so funny

Icklebeans, have you got everything set up in there now? I think I remember you saying you were getting it all sorted earlier in the week..
The spare room I was in earlier is all lilac and floral. Perfect for a girl, but not so much for a boy - OH keeps saying it doesn't matter and "he won't know" but I really want to change it. Luckily it's the only room in the house which doesn't actually need anything structural changing in it so it's just a case of taking the paper off and putting something plainer up. I only want it neutral - not keen on the "everything blue" set ups I've seen in some magazines/brochures.
MIL actually volunteered last weekend to do it for me - I'm convinced she doesn't actually like me but seems to be warming to me with each visit (lucky, what with me having her third grandchild and all!) so it meant quite a lot that she offered to helpShe's already got one of these - OH's sister's DD (almost 16) and her DS (3.5) so I don't think there's any novelty there for her this time.
