Hi all.. Had a lovely long lie-in with OH this morning - a rarity! :)

Hope everything goes okay for you today Feelie and you're back home this evening :) Thinking PINK for you, Sami! :D Enjoy your tea party, AM!

Aiming to do more clearing out of the house again this weekend but it probably won't happen, as per usual :(

Hope everyone has a good day xx

Good luck for the DAU Feelie :A Hope everything is ok and you cope well. And do they not have the elastic bands for the moniters? Cheap gits!

They got straps, but they don't work! He doesn't like being monitored, and moves around a lot, so I have to hold it in place, then move it around every 3 minutes when he rolls over! I'm sure the extra padding doesn't help.

Had some more flashy lights this morning, and headache is pretty bad, so shall be interesting to see what they say at DAU. Going to pick up a few magazines - I think I'm keeping the hospital shop in business, the amount I spent there!

    Thanks for the support guys.

I am not the kind of person who is always asking "this is normal" and I know hormones play havoc with your emotions and I know this is normal, it just isn't normal for me - and I just ain't used to it. I am not used to the physical restraints put on me - but hey, I guess that is pregnancy for me!

Feelie I'm sure you'll have already left but I just thought (maybe for next time?) what about audio books on MP3 player?

Ahh Ickle - I see, Yes you'll just have to get used to it lol
In a few months you probably won't recognise yourself - I'm a completely different person from who I was pre baby, I don't worry about all sorts I used to and worry all about other things that would never have entered my head before!
be prepared for some of the emotional stuff to stick too, I used to only cry at really emotional stuff but these days just seeing a child do something nice and I'm in tears!

I'm sat on the living room floor folding clothes and putting them in vac bags etc. Asked OH earlier what he would prefer - a neat tidy house or an early night.. horrible sod chose the neat tidy house option!! I'm not impressed..

    The former!

Oh, is "vac bag" a brand name? :o It's just what I was calling them.. Says "Space Bag" on mine - £5 for two from Argos! ;)

Seeing the size of them (70x110cms, I think it said.. can't reach the packet!), I reckon I could have fitted everything in one! Got less clothes than I thought :D

not sure if it's a brand but you can tell mine are cheap coz they don't have the fancy little black circle valve for your hoover, they have a tube and a sort of sock to put over the end of hoover to stop anything getting sucked up :rotfl:
How rude of ur OH!! I bet he wants the nudge nudge ;);) early night too, he'll be all lovely later maybe give you a bit of a back/neck rub.. thats what mine would do - cheeky swine!

right best get a shower! i thought OH would be home by now but he did say he'd finish "about 1 or 2" so prob only just leaving! I've just earned £14.50 worth of points on consumerpulse (invite only site) can only swap them in increments of £10 but can get amazon, argos, next voucher with them, gonna save up amazon vouchers I think and use them to fulfill my dream of owning a le crusset casserole! :D
