    Hi,

I am joining up if thats ok?
Due date is Nov 14th ish at the moment, so im about 7/8wks.
I have 2 girls already, 4 and 7 and this is baby number 3.

I know its early to think about prams but lets face it, its an exciting job to pick one!

I have seen a few i like, just wondered if anyone had them and what they were actually like...

    1. Maclaren XT with car seat
    2. Silver Cross 3D with car seat
    3. Britax Visio with car seat
    4. M&P Prima with car seat

I had a Maclaren buggy when my 2 babies got to about 8 months and loved them but never had one from Birth and Hubby isnt keen on the looks of the XT.

    Any help appreciated. :j

Good choice - saves all the work now ;) Was it tomorrow you might get chance to look for car seats?

Was hoping to, but OH has a bit of a cold. He is at work today, so not sure if he'll fancy shopping on his one day off! I will get one before I have the baby, honest!

(I'm so going to be stopping off at halfords while I'm in labour aren't I? Luckily its on the way to the hospital!)

Hi Evie :) Congrats on baby - and your recent wedding :D

We've got a few with experience of the SX 3D (Sami, SB, AM and shellsuit)and fans of the M&P one, I think. They'll no doubt be around later :)

I'm a first timer still debating prams so I'm no use! :) One thing with the SX car seat though is that it's notorious for not fitting in Fords - their seatbelts are too short. I'm looking at the SX Linear Freeway but haven't tried the car seat in my Fiesta yet.

    Welcome Evie!

No cuddles or fighting in the womb - they are non-identical (so could be any flavours) and therefore are in seperate sacs but apparently the already have a unique bond so the books tell me. :D

Hi Evie :hello: , congratulations and welcome to the pregnancy club.

I am no help with prams I'm afraid, as we still haven't decided which one to get yet ourselves :o . But we are leaning towards either the mamas and papas pilko pramette or the silvercross 3d, but there is so much choice isn't there?

Icklebeans, do they let you go to 40+ weeks with twins, or do you have to be induced early?

not sure if it's a brand but you can tell mine are cheap coz they don't have the fancy little black circle valve for your hoover, they have a tube and a sort of sock to put over the end of hoover to stop anything getting sucked up :rotfl:
how much were they? i've got loads of 3-6 month baby clothes that are taking up valuable space, could do with uber cheap vac packs to get them out the way!

Hi i did post but for some reason its not showing up :(

Anyway, i just got back from lunch. I went to H&M to look at maternity clothes :D
Also went to MKone as they have a sale and i'll need some strecthy summer clothes. I found nothing :(
i refused to spend money on maternity clothes, i bought loads of t shirts and vests from primark and h+m in varying largenesses and lived in peacocks jeans, i probably could have looked more attractive towards the end but nevermind! i just could not see the point in spending lots on clothes to wear for a few months, and the plan is to lose lots of weight now LO is here so i wont need to wear them again if (IF!!!!!!) i ever have another!

You were talking about work trousers earlier - I've got black ones from Topshop (£28 I think) with the adjustable elastic and buttons in the waistband. Been wearing them since 16wks I think but for ages before then I was undoing the buttons everytime I sat down on my old ones. Wish I'd bought them earlier! You could get those, and change the amount of elastic every day if you like :D
i got mine from dorothy perkins, the £22 naples ones, soooooooooo comfy! not under the bump ones but i couldnt get on with under the bump trousers, they permanently threatened to become under the knees trousers!! :D attractive at work!
    I'm fine!

Very quick stop at DAU - blood pressure taken three times and all were fine. Trace went really well, he was well behaved for once! Urine is fine. Back on Tuesday, but everything looks good, she said chances are it'll all be alright and he'll just come when he is ready. Mentioned how I'm feeling, just side effects of the medication, and water retention, nothing to worry about.

    Nice and relieved!
YAY! good news :T BP medication has horrible side effects, and what a awful time to have to take it as well when the side effects are the same as what could be something more serious.

we went to the pet shop today for treats for the hamster and i really wanted to buy a bunny but OH wouldnt allow it  he wouldnt let me have degu's either. he said i have a baby and i dont need a pet!!!! evil man!

oh and we dont have a nursery, we only have a tiny one bedroom flat :( we cant afford somewhere bigger until i go back to work and even then we will probably have to move back in with my nan for a few weeks while we wait for our deposit to be returned  but if we did have a nursery it would be cream with a touch of blue and classic poohs, i love classic pooh!

    Hi Evie and congrats!!!

I'd go and test each of those car seats in your car and see which ones fit - it might narrow your choice down you see if one or more won't fit in your car.

2 of us I know just off the top of my head had to change our prams within the last month because the matching car seat wouldn't fit our cars xx
