Very good idea.. regular savings! Stupid thing is, I won't even notice it going out so I'm not going to miss it - I don't check my bank account often enough to know what's in there. I think it's just the actual moving the money from one account (where my salary goes) to another one (dedicated baby fund). Gonna set it up now whilst I remember..
We've got £240 in there now but it's been so long since I put anything in there I can't remember where that money came from! I think it might have been a few Quidco payouts and Lotto winsGoing to add the £55 from Quidco (OH's car insurance) which I'm waiting on and the £190 HiPG when we get it. Hoping to sell the futon and furniture from our spare room for £100 soon - I know someone at work who's setting up home from scratch so I'm giving her first dibs
Think I need to see what else I can change through Quidco.. Time to do all those MSE things I keep reading about!

I felt guilty when DS started school as a July birthday they start at Xmas so are already well behind the others and the statistics the schools hold say they don't catch up until at least 10 or older. Can't believe I was silly enough to have another July baby but I have worked hard with DS and he is slowly catching up. Seems so unfair that they are expected to be the same for KS1 sats and he will only be 6.Too many children, too little time!!!0

elle set up a standing order i have one for bubs/ML and one for zoe for when she needs clothes, trainers and all that then it saves on ever worrying about it i need things for them 2 coz they're sorted just have to worry about yourself x

I wouldnt worry about it too much, my hubby was a July baby and he came first in the country in 1 of his GCSEs and is one of those annoyingly smart people at completely useless subjects !!!:rotfl:
Although all kids in the schools here start in September, only nursary classes stagger the startThe two best things I have done with my life
