Right ladies, tonight I had to buy a multi-pack of icelollies and I wholeheartedly blame you lot:D . I really wanted feasts or something but I've given chocolate up for Lent. I must be mental!
I'm really interested in this idea of requesting non-unsociable hours at work. Is it reasonable to do that, and what qualifies as un-sociable hours? I have no idea how I will do my job when I am third trimester. I either work very early or pretty late and I'm on my feet and active all day. Ho-hum....will have to cross that bridge when I get to it and i know how I well I feel.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -

Hi gals, hope you're all ok:D
Went to antenatal with DD today and the baby's fully engaged, and the midwife tried to do a sweep but couldn't, so DD's going back next fri and she'll try again.I've still got 2nd April in my head but who knows:eek:"You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf"

At work they have got rid of our department, and yesterday they asked us to pick 3 choices of where we want to go.
I was pretty much told by my current team manager that im going to be on his new team. And i find out today im on a team that i didn't want to go on with hours until 11pm!
I know with the whole current climate im lucky to have a job, but i dont see the point in them asking us for choices then not even bothering to look.
The people that didn't want to go to the place i wanted to go, got it.
Sorry about ranting i just needed to say something. I cried lol.
xx

Oohh Evansangel I get very confused when I see your name as the first half is my maiden name and I think its me that's written your posts. Baby-brain maybe! Fellow Hampshire person here too. I'm in sunny Southampton!
Sorry to hear that your job is a bit pants at the moment- I can totally imagine that it is all very upsetting at the moment with all your hormones going wild and making you feel vulnerable etc. Hugs to you x x:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0
