It may sound better if you say that you would prefer some of his shifts to be the same yours, as a compromise.

(Hugs to everyone, welcome to the newbies, and congrats to the new babies. Not been on today, so lots of catching up to do - Violet has been stuck to my boobies for most of it, must be a growth spurt!)
She's just upping your supply... Give it a couple of days and she'll settle back down again... They happen at about the same time for lots of babies... Usually happens at about 16weeks which is what a lot of people mistake for signs that baby needs weaning...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

They can't stop any of your doctors appointments - they can ask you to prove you have them but they can't stop them. On the other hand you should obviously try and arrange them so they cause the lease interference to work when possible but that goes without saying :)
With my midwife you get what you're given most of the time - she's that fully booked :(

Well the cheese fondue was ok but not grand - just waiting for dinner to cook now :) might go get some baguette that DH brought home - lurve fresh baguette

Tine - I was asked to skip last weeks MW appointment because not only was she fully booked, she had an extra 12 ladies to see before and after the clinic!

After the BP problems, I won't let them persuade me that its okay to miss appointments.

Thanks! I'd read that they'll typically have growth spurts at 1 week, 6 weeks and 16 weeks, so will feed to up the milk supply, so she's done the 1 week and 6 week ones on time so i'll be prepared for the 16 week one!

I really wish i'd bought a sling that she can feed in, to leave me hands free - it's incredibly difficult trying to cook/iron/do anything with one hand!

Any sling experts out there? Have I left it too late? How long can they fit comfortably in a sling for - and any recommendations?

Hello, Newbie to this forum...Well today I received a home  visit today (very novel, but lovely) from my Midwife and then her student Midwife later on...both of them lovely.

I feel positively baffed by all the info:o ....this is my 2nd pregnancy. DD is 4 1/2 years old. The thing is it all feels so foreign, I can't remember anything and my dates are a tad confusing too. Today I'm either 12 weeks or 8 weeks (period was very light, then no period)

So they have booked me a scan for next Tuesday, very excited about that, bar the pains I'm feeling.
Can anyone help...My tummy just aches, it's been like it on and off for the last few days, but today wow...all day. Everythings tight, so I have my vest top up high and my jog pants down low..:D :D

They have told me it's my body stretching....It never stretched like this before.

    Thanks
    Angel

P.s some of you will know from my previous posts - My sister is pregnant too...just thought I'd add that too

MrsT - Mine is home made chilli. It did both of us last night, both of us last night and about 2 portions have been frozen. Used 500g of extra lean steak mince, 3 tins of tomatoes, 1 tin of kidney beans, 3 onions, a red pepper and all the necessary herbs and spices. Dad's recipe slightly adapted and it always does 6 meals and that's at least 4 massive meals and 2 medium sized.

On the steak front - I only got into this year, I always said I didn't like it cos MIL always overcooks EVERYTHING. When I cook things myself I'll try them, I never buy steak but we got given some and it was gorgeous. I will see what I fancy when we get to the pub - might be chicken wrapped in ham and cheese which is beautiful!

Sami - YAY i'm so glad I remembered your scan date! I will pop on tomorrow for news of which team you are on!.

As for FB - I'm not even signed up :o It's just something that OH and I never got in to.

EA - I hope you get your job sorted out so you get the hrs you and OH want. Me and OH rarely get time off together as he works over the weekend and I'm off. He only gets 5 weeks holiday in between footy season so I take most of annual leave then but not this year - I want t save it up!

Welcome Angel - my tummy always feels weird these days like there is something trying to burst out!!! :p It feels the same as if you eat a massive meal and have to undo your trousers cause they are going to burst :o

EA - Don't make a habit of changing your appts to fit around work as they will expect you to do it everytime! My work had known for a day and they tried to schedule a meeting for the same time as my consultant appt and then asked me to change it! Oh yeah, I booked it like 3 weeks ago and that was the next available one!

I do feel sorry for MW with overbooking - ours in work are always running behind. But if people need seeing they have to see them.

Sorry my posts are always sooooooo long!!
