we took zoe to the 20week scan so we could all find out at the same time she sat there waiting and then the scanner lady said its a boy! (i knew he was going to be a boy) and she burst in to tears and said but i wanted a sister :rotfl: .. later that day she turned and said its ok now mummy ive got used to having a brother ... bless her :rotfl: x

I'm not Sami, but I use www.auctionstealer.com - you register and give it your ebay ID and password and it gives you three free snipes a week. You paste in the item number and tell it your maximum bid, and it bids for you with about ten seconds to go.

I use it if I'll be away from the computer or if I know I can't be trusted not to get carried away if someone else starts bidding against me.

Thanks for this...I bid on something last night and put in a highest max bid....Now the actual bid was much lower and i was the only bidder till 2 seconds left to go and then someone won it with a bid 20p over my highest bid...I take it they'd used a snipper tool. Would this allow them to know my highest bid without it being seen?

Ive never used one before and not sure how they work x

Haha, aww I just had to go downstairs at work, and ran back up the stairs now im exausted lol.

My friend throughout her pregnancy thought she was having a girl, she had a scan and they said its a boy and she cried to lol. I dont know what i'll have.
I want a boy though

Is she helping you pick babie clothes and stuff?

ooo yer everything she see she wants to get him... my OH was sort of hoping for a girl but since i had an ectopic last year im just happy this little mister bump is ok, fighting fit and currently kicking the poo out of me which is early for him :rotfl: x

No they can't see your max bid whether or not they use a sniper tool and nor can the person running the auction
They obviously had a higher max bid and as there was x seconds left the sniper tool kicked in and did incremental bids until they were the highest bidder - the main advantage is that another bidder (you in this case) couldn't revise your max bid with a matter of seconds to go and win the auction

Haha at the moment i want to buy everything But OH says to wait until we come back from our holiday, as i'll be 12 weeks then

Thinking of that, am i allowed to fly when im 11 1/2 weeks? And when will the MW do my scan, before or after the holiday? If you know
