Haha, i am really happy :D
I already have an application for my ipod, it tells me how far along i am and shows a 3d pic of the baby at that week. Im 5 weeks today and the picture is amazing haha, its like a tiny little bean in a big sack :D

Will i be classed as a high risk pregnancy? Been reading books and stuff and it says if you or your mum or sister have had pre eclampisa or eclampsia, you will be classed as high risk, and my mum had it twice. Also OH has peanut allergy and pretty much alot of other allergys etc :(
As much as i trust the books, some of it was written a while ago, and alot changes i've noticed. :)

    How are you today anyway?

    xx
  • I haven't actually seen my GP since finding out (although spoke to a Dr last night when they called with my blood test results though). It was the midwife who wanted all of mine and quite a lot of OH's family history at the booking in apt. The midwife also asked whether I'd thought about birth options, what level of anomoly testing I would like (nuchal fold etc) and whether I planned to breast feed. All felt a bit premature at about 8 weeks but I guess they like to find out!

Tine- thanks for the tip on lentil soup- I actually had lentil lasagne for tea last night and do eat quite a lot of red lentils. Will have to up it!

Just waiting for my Mum to deliver her dog as we are having her for the weekend.

g-i-s-i... and everyone actually... The community midwife should not ask you your choice of feeding method! It pins you down to making a decision and sticking to it, when, as we know... Pregnant women like to change their minds a lot! All they should do is give you the information and leave it to you to decide...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Hmm.. i haven't even thought about any of that  I got 3 weeks to think about that then :)

searching_me - I had work yesterday until 7:30pm and im here again today. They did ask if anyone wants to go home, and im so tempted, but i only worked one day this week (i get 3 days off and i chose to go home monday)
so i have to stay :(
Even though i could sleep forever :D

When i got home yesterday i felt so hungry within like 10mins, i was fine walking home but as soon as i got home i was starving lol. Is that normal? I had some chocolate fingers while waiting for dinner :D

Krystaltips - I want to breastfeed i know that, but i dont want to feel pressured into it and frowned upon if i need to bottle feed incase i cant breastfeed :(

    Good morning all :D xx

The midwife who booked me in asked me what method of feeding i would be using, i'd only known i was pregnant about 2 weeks!

Well we are still here, contractions (or whatever the hell they are!) stopped at about 2-3am.
I wish he would make up his mind, i keep getting my hopes up cos it dont feel like BH's they are so strong and painful, oh well just have to wait and see.
Just got back from the school run, i'm so glad they break up next week, I dunno how many more times i can walk up and down that hill, it;s agony.

OH's workmate's missus had her baby at 1.30am, little boy, 7lb odd, just see him up the school and he's over the moon, she's got 4 kids already but this is his first bless him.

If you want to breastfeed then there is no reason you wouldn't be able to... As long as you have good support from your health care providers and through groups etc in your local community!

If anyone asks just keep telling them you haven't decided yet...
