See now I'm puzzled about conflicting info. I have been dealing with thrush (slowly going away finally), but both GP and midwife told me not to use the pessary only the external cream. The pharmacist insisted I needed the pessary and told me GP and midwife were wrong, but I was loathe to go against their advice. *sigh* Frustrating. Movement counting, is it not 10 periods of movement in 10 hours (or 24 depending on who you talk too)? As in, you don't count every kick, just his active moments.
I'm all chuffed, my house is starting to look nice again after the first trimester neglect (since Xmas when I had flu).
I was thinking of getting a defurbulator thingy for Odie, but a cheaper one (there are lots of makes). At the moment has just has a pin brush and finishing brush and they are pretty useless with his casting. Much prefere short coated dogs, you can just use a hack saw blade for them (and the horse too). Will have a think, it's his undercoat that I'm allergic too so if I could get that out all the better (can't take my antihistimenes right now).
Mook, that is so cute!
Baby clothes again, you soon learn how to roll them up as you take em off. Tis a much needed talent for babyhood and toddlerhoodSame with duvet covers, sheets, blankets etc:rotfl:

Thanks for welcoming me. Sat here very uncomfortable as one of the babies seems to like to wedge his/her bum against my ribs.0

LOL - pretty much rule of thumb - whatever position is the least comfortable for you - that's the one that'll be most comfortable for baby!MSE mum of DS(7), and DS(4) (and 2 adult DCs as well!)DFW Long haul supporters No 210:snow_grin Christmas 2013 is coming soon!!! :xmastree:0

Movement counting, is it not 10 periods of movement in 10 hours (or 24 depending on who you talk too)? As in, you don't count every kick, just his active moments.
I checked with the doctor and she said to count every kick or punch as one movement. Which is why I'm confused. But usually I'd never get to ten sets of movements so if it is that way then I'm worried!
She definitely said ten kicks in ten hours.See now I'm puzzled about conflicting info. I have been dealing with thrush (slowly going away finally), but both GP and midwife told me not to use the pessary only the external cream. The pharmacist insisted I needed the pessary and told me GP and midwife were wrong, but I was loathe to go against their advice. *sigh* Frustrating. But at least it's going away.
I was prescribed the Canestan pessary, but I was very careful with using the applicator as it looked a bit vicious! The instructions say to be careful but that it is OK in pregnancy. I think the worry is if you shove it in too hard you might damage the cervix maybe? Or induce labour or something? I don;t know but I'd imagine it's to do with that kind of thing.
Where's Sami when you need her?She knows everything!:cool: DFW Nerd Club member 023...DFD 9.2.2007 :cool::heartpuls married 21 6 08 :A Angel babies' birth dates 3.10.08 * 4.3.11 * 11.11.11 * 17.3.12 * 2.7.12 :heart2: My live baby's birth date 22 7 09 :heart2: I'm due another baby at the end of July 2014! :j
