Thanks SB!
Ah! John Lewis!
just looking at your sig. Wondered because both your babies were consistent in their 11 days over EDD whether maybe you have a long cycle (EDDs are based on a 28 day cycle with day 14 as ovulation, which less than half of women have) just a thought, if your periods are usually further apart, you may be being given EDDs with your pregnancies that are too soon for your body. Just a thought, and please ignore if it doesn't fit for you!:D
Love Weezl x
Thanks, Weezl, interesting thought! My cycle is 31 days but both were induced at term plus 10 and born on the 11th day (and, just for the sake of telling the tale, both were due on a Wednesday, both induced on a Saturday and both born on a Sunday!!).
Hope Jonathan is being fabulous for his Mummy!

Glad you're ok, Mrs MOC. What a terrible shock. Lots of hugs.

Benjamin weighed in at a healthy but not massive 8lbs 14.5oz.
A very long and tough journey for all of us, we are still in hospital. Every second completely worth it for my gorgeous boy. He is a joy, breastfeeding well and sleeping even better, so far he hardly murmers!
Will post birth story and pics when I get out of hospital.
MFD xx

Hi all..
I've read through to catch up, but didn't take notes so forgive me if I forget someone!
Mel - congrats on the birth of Kai!
Mrs Moc - feet up and moving-up placenta vibes to you!
Feelie - did you have a good time at your nan's? See any good prams?
MFD - how are you and Benjamin? Temps okay now? (says the novice with no idea how long these things take to sort out!)
No news yet on AF or emlouAlso, does Jo_R's son have a name yet?
I woke up feeling very cheerful this morning - no idea why, must have been the sun! Found an email in my inbox from an extremely good candidate for OH's boss' job so I think all bets are off and he will just walk straight into it so no chance for OH, but hey ho, he might get a few chances made to his job description which will be nice (recognition for what he actually does).
AM and Krystal, any news on your OH's jobs, and MM, any news on yours? *fingers crossed* for you all!
Fitzio, all my maternity trousers and jeans are the same low rise hipster type that I used to wear - in fact my work trousers are an exact copy of my old ones so noone realised at first. Can't see myself going for anything with a big panel on the front, especially as I'm due in summer - don't you get hot with the other layer over your front?!
Apparently I "look pregnant" now as my darling colleague pointed out earlier - I just looked like I'd had a big lunch before! I must do cos one of the contractors came in earlier, looked me up and down, said "congratulations" then carried on!
I'm off out for tea with an old colleague tonight - one I used to work with at the same time as the woman who keeps making comments about my eating (who incidentially is off on hols all week!). Think I feel a rant coming on!
Hope everyone else is well xx:j Baby boy Number 2, arrived 12th April 2009!:j0 -
It makes me sad that I know what GOW2 is
It's the shouting down the headset to his bro that annoys me! Honestly, there I am, in bed, alone, and all I can hear is 'Bleep! Bleep! You stupid Bleep, where the Bleep were you when I was getting Bleeping shot by some Bleeping Bleep wee Bleep?!' or 'Alpha! Alpha! BLEEP! For Bleep sake where the Bleep is my airstrike?!' or 'Aye, Bleep you too you Bleeping Bleep!'
oh, oh, then there is the 'Bleep! TIA, why is there never any Bleeping batteries in this Bleeping house?! and not those Bleeping useless rechargabel ones?!' well, bunny does take 4 you know....0 -

a couple im sort of friends with (more friend of friends thing) they met on xbox live, known each other just over a year and half, they are getting married in june, which neither of them are paying for (some parents eh?) both of them dont work and now bragging that they are claiming they are "being kicked out" to get a house from the council ... o did i mention hes 17 turning 18 soon and shes 22 turning 23 soon.... makes me so angry i mean i know i claimed off the council but my mother tried taking my child away from me (yes shes that messed up) ... what is wrong with these people
rant over sorry not pregnancy related just makes me so damn angry x
Dont get me wrong i dont begrudge people benefits, been there myself, but they were actively trying for a baby and even went to some fertility place, but they said that because she's already got 3 kids (2 got took off her) they dont class her as a priority.:j Baby boy Number 2, arrived 12th April 2009!:j0 -
AM now why would you try for another rather then go get the kids that were took off you ... some people  x
