I don't understand how the rules were broken, we weren't advertising, we weren't offering incentives for people to join, nor we were making out it was easy to get rich quick. I think those are the things that Phoenix won't permit and rightly so. I'm very disappointed the old thread was locked.I like cooking with wine......sometimes I even put it in the food!0

I'm disappointed too as I've been following the thread for a while and was inspired to send for an information pack through it. It seemed as though people were giving some very good tips on how to improve sales and not at all touting for business or trying to recruit. Surely that can only be a good thing for PT, to have people full of ideas for making them more money?

Does anyone else think it may have been because some traders were struggling to get sales? May potentially make the company look like a less appealing prospect. Most folks would understand the current financial climate and that this is a business that will take time to develop.
I do think they have done new traders an injustice by removing a very valid and inspiring thread which can only serve to assist the new recruits and allow them to discuss techniques and gain assistance from the more experienced. Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.

I agree. I thought it was very draconian of PT to get it closed. Though have a feeling it may have been a disgruntled trader who said we were breaking the rules!
Maybe the link for this poll will bring some of the regulars from that one to to this one.0 -

Let's hope so! The Hints & Tips thread was a great source of information and help, perhaps those of us still posting can continue on that theme?0 -

I'm really pleased that 've found this thread as was really disapointed when I saw the old one had been closed down. I've just become a atrader a few weeks ago and have found everyones comments and advice really helpful:j0

I have to admit I am not too keen on toddler groups, although it is a great recruitment opportunity as well as a good source of obtaining names/addresses for your mailing list.Thank you to all OPs
