  • In my doordrop bags, I put a brochure, orderform, sample card and a freepost card, I use the "Why Buy?" door to door A5 version from "downloads:stationery and signs" and staple it to the front of the brochure.

The more you put in, the more each one costs if you don't get it back, so once my sample cards from the business pack have run out I may not bother ordering any more.

I've done a great toddler group this morning, and along with some orders resulting from my supplement email, I'm now over my BV for May, so it's been a fab Phoenix day for me!

Hi i'm new as a PT and have to say how helpful this forum is, thank you. I am thinking of doing a brochure drop like many of you are doing, I was wondering what you but in it other then your brochure?

when you open the download, you can save it to your own pc then attach it to emails. I also put a link in the email to the new products in case they couldn't download th supplement.

That's a great idea, never even thought of it myself. Thanks.

I haven't been on since this new thread started, was thinking we would get into trouble. Glad I popped back.

    Hi

sorry to butt in on the thread, but work with a different ds company and wonder if I could compare prices on website usage. I understand that with PT you can have an internet link to allow people to buy from you online - can you tell me if they charge you for that, and if so, how much?

    Thanks

    :D

Hi ann0024, How do you go about setting the PT web link up? I've trawled the PT website and all the nocks and crannies of the trader area but can't find any information what so ever. I was hoping to find something out about this before deciding whether of not to set it up.

Thank you for the information on the brochure drops that is helpful. Just waiting for some resealable bags to arrive and hopeful get them out tomorrow. I have got my first fayre a week on Saturday a little nervous about that!

Thanks so much for your tips :T. Have been getting a bit more organised and going to do another drop next week with letter, download and card. have got some samples of the new Al69 butterfly card as it's my absolute favourite and i have some of the spring supplements with it in too. Wish me luck! Thx for the tip about big/new houses - now find myself scanning around for them whilst driving around, hee hee.

Good luck with your next brochure drop Glenshee
  • That's a good idea with the Blue butterfly samples - it's my second best selling card. Number 1 is the Russian Dolls, I sold 16 of those last month.

I have to admit, with door drops I've had more luck with Victorian terraces than newer or bigger houses. They are also quicker and easier to deliver to than having to traipse up a long driveway to each house!

I am starting to book stalls for some events, a plant sale, and a school Fayre, and I am starting to get nervous. In your experience, have fayres etc been good moneymakers? How much stock do I need? Do you usually take your own tables? What happens if it rains!!
