:j:j:jWE'RE GOING ON HOLIDAY TODAY!!! :j:j:j
Had a wonderful weekend, the wedding was fabulous, my girls were little stars, elder DD was in charge of the brides train and she was amazing!! It was all sooooo wonderful!!
And now, finally, we are going on holiday!! Got pretty much everything done last night, just last few things to put in case this morning & make picnic for lunchtime. We are sailing on the 1.55pm Condor from Poole to St Malo, staying in a Campanile (like a travelodge) tonight and driving to the site tomorrow, which is near Vannes in Southern Brittany.:D:D
Am hoping for lovely sunny weather, to just chill out, relax, and enjoy being with my family!!!
(But I do have t'internet on my phone....so I may pop in:p)0 -

We have returned safe and well!!!
We have had a wonderful, super duper holiday, weather was most acceptable, I am nicely tanned, we swam outdoors nearly every day, we ate delicious food and drank lots of lovely cheap wine!!
DDs loved it, they did archery (bow was bigger than younger DD - hilarious - but she managed it!) pony riding and we all did a tyrolean zip line thing - wow that was such fun!!!! :rotfl:We visited some beautiful places, went on a lovely boat trip round some islands - it was all just totally fabulous. Lovely caravan too, very quiet with plenty of space.
Trip over on the condor was a bit rough though - we were all extremely green and queasy & spent most of it outside getting blown away! Coming back was much calmer!
Now back to reality....mountains of washing and ironing, and its pouring with rain!
Been grocery shopping this morning, stuck to list and meal plan and used MOCs, new month today - time to refocus!!!!!0 -
Welcome home Mogchops - sounds like you and the family had a great trip.

Been back a week from holiday already!!! Where did that go!!!:rotfl:
All been good, been back to work - for the first time in about 6 weeks, as was off with stress before holiday - and I am sooooo happy that I feel so much better, this week has been fine, no anxiety or anything, and I'm eating normally, so really happy.
Money wise been a good week too - hardly spent anything! Just groceries I think! Good job really as not many pennies left in the bank after holiday! :rotfl:
Going school uniform shopping today though - but hopefully shouldnt be too bad. They both need trousers and shirts, & younger DD needs cardies, but elder DD still has 2 sweatshirts that fit, and this is her last year, so hopefully will see her through! Shoes - now thats another story  maybe will leave that for another day................
Quiet weekend planned, & DDs are staying with my mum Sunday & Monday night, as she is looking after them Mon & Tues while we are at work. They will have a lovely time.
hmmm....really must get dressed now.........having a very lazy morning!!:D0 -
Really glad that going back to work has been good. I'm sure you were really nervous.
Good news about the uniforms too!

Thanks, I was very nervous!! All settled back in now though, as if I'd never been away....
Back from the uniform shopping, was surprisingly painless!! And no arguments! Fabulous!0 -
Good to hear you settled back in. I found it really strange to be back at first.
Hope the shopping hasnt been too stressful or expensive. Im hoping to leave mine until the end of the month. 1)kids might stop growing for a bit 2) week off and 3) pay day. Downside is itll all be sold out.:j0 -
Oh my goodness, HOW long since I updated my diary!!!
Mind you, not been on here at all for over a week as had pc problems....boy did I have withdrawal symptoms for MSE!!!
PC is now 6 years old, thats antique in the pc world (no pun intended) I just hope it doesnt give up just yet!!
Anyhow, things are going ok, it was elder DDs birthday on the 21st, had a lovely lovely time, went to Longleat on the saturday & had a brilliant day. Cant believe I now have a 10 year old!:D
Money wise - came in over budget AGAIN on groceries. Just cannot seem to get it down, even with MOCs!!! Really must try harder this month.
Everything else pottering along ok, credit cards not being used :T which is good, so hopefully debt totals will go down a bit quicker!!
No work today as school not back till tomorrow - but elder DD has got a virus, sore throat/fever, so may not be back tomorrow either :rolleyes:0
