I'll join you in the weight-loss thingy....We're going on holiday in 6 weeks and I want to lose 7lb too. I've put that on in the last couple of months - partly steroids and partly being a greedy piglet;) But I've got to the stage where a lot of my summer skirts and trousers are just too tight, and I can't afford new clothes!!
So I'll come here and keep an eye on you:D Maybe on my own diary I'll post my food for the day, so I won't be tempted to cheat:rotfl:I really need to sort out a new signature!0 -

*Rushes in to post before Mrs G-G notices I missed yesterday*
My poor DD has got croup!! She has been poorly for a couple of days, nasty cough, getting her up at night, took her to doctors this afternoon and its croup!! Makes sense now, as she has been very rough with her breathing in the night. As usual, no cure, as its viral  just calpol and TLC!! And no school tomorrow. I feel so bad now for sending her yesterday and todayIts just so hard knowing what to do for the best sometimes
Diet wise - doing well! Sticking to the healthy eating. Apart from work this morning, when there was a cake sale, & my manager bought me a slice of strawberry sponge with fresh whipped cream :D Well, I had to eat it didnt I? Would have been rude not to! :rotfl:
There was also a book sale, got some for me & some for DDs, 6 books for £4, & all for charity, so very nice thank you.
Counting the minutes till Friday - pay day! :j Then can redo the budgets for the coming month and do my best to stick to them!

Poor DD viral bugs are so random and its hard to know how ill a child is they can be a wimp or a tough nut. Sent my kids off without realising how rough they were feeling.
My DD1 has had a reaction to something and has a face full of spots so not having fun at school. Shes only 11 so stands out.:j0 -
Payyyyy Dayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!! :j:j:j
Whoop Whoop!!! Sat & redid my budgets last night, and am really going to try & stick to them!! Going to Mr T this morning with detailed list compiled alongside weekly meal planner. And using MOCs of course!
And have made a new spending diary, & written every day on the page, so every day we HAVE to write everything we've spent. I have GOT to work out where it is all going!!
DD has had a better night, slept right through & hardly any coughing :T she's still croaky this morning, but hopefully we're on the mend
Nice bright sunny morning, although a bit windy, got lots to do today as busy weekend coming up with my mums 60th!! Really looking forward to it all!
KP, I hope your DD is getting better, thats horrible to have something like that, other children can be totally insensitive. Hope she is ok.0 -
Another week, another Monday!
Just weighed myself - 1lb off!!! :j:j So thats a good start, 6lb to go & 4 weeks left!! Am doing pretty well at sticking to the healthy eating, with a few little blips here & there .....:o:p
Had a wonderful weekend, was my mums party yesterday, it went really well - apart from a bit of rain in the middle!! We all ended up squashed under the gazebos!! :rotfl: But it didnt spoil anything, it was all brilliant, am very tired today though as I was doing a lot of running around! But it was great!
Day off today - thank goodness! Quiet day to myself catching up at home, as hardly been here all weekend! DD is much better & will be going back to school today. Still coughing a bit, but otherwise fine. :j
Money wise- so far so good.....got to pay for car tax today though. Grrr.
And bought a suit for DH yesterday - he needs a new one for wedding coming up in 4 weeks, his last one lasted 11 years & has finally bitten the dust!! (He doesnt have much use for suits....:p) But I found one on Debenhams last night, in the sale, so paid £80 for jacket & trousers, went through Quidco & also used code for free delivery!! :T So am pretty happy with that!!
Got to spend a considerable time today cleaning the lounge floor - its laminate, & hasnt been washed for *ahem* quite a whileand the cat kindly dismembered a rodent on it yesterday. So I think its time to clean it!!
