    Well... I did it...got up at 6.15am, at the car boot for 6.45am, just got home now, it was FREEEEEEZZZZINNNGGG - was soooo cold, am chilled to the bone! Even though the sun came out eventually, it was still cold! Am now sat with 2 jumpers & a cup of tea and am just starting to thaw!!

    Money-wise - made £25 :T Would have liked more, obviously! But have got rid of a lot of stuff, and now have £25 that I didnt have at 6.15am this morning! So it was worth it - I think! :rotfl:

    DH is cooking a gorgeous roast dinner as I type - he's a star :A Am going to eat lots then collapse on sofa for a while methinks!
  • Well done on the car boot you have the right attitude about the £25. I did loads of carboots last year with mixed results but it all adds up and because I was busy I didnt spend anything either.

    Thank you KP, Yep £25 is £25!! And is £25 more than I started the day with! So that has to be good.

    Had a lovely lunch, then collapsed on the sofa for a while, then DH made me go with them all for a bike ride:eek: I would rather have stayed on the sofa, but it was lovely once we got going - very warm and sunny! :D

    Lost tonight now - then bed!

    Mogchops attempted a NSD.

    Mogchops failed!! :rotfl::rotfl:

    But I havent frittered!!

    £4.24 in Tescos. (But this included 2 packs of dishwasher tabs on bogof, for which I had a £3 tillspit, so was £4.50 for 2 boxes which are normally £7.50 each... Also a £2.49 slab of cheese, £1.15 yogurts and 2 x 39p mikybars. Used other mocs too - so total after bogofs £11.34, actually paid £4.24, so I think thats pretty thrifty! If anyone's still awake after following that.....:rotfl:)

    £12.97 in Toys R us - for upcoming birthday presents. But got Crayola stuff on 3 for 2, so have something extra to put in present stash as well. Bargain.:j

    £12.00 for DD for Brownies subs tonight - though that comes out of budget, so is not an unexpected spend, iyswim.

    And a free 2 litres of milk from Sainsburys with the token from todays Sun! (Had to swing by Sainsburys to pick up DDs boots from menders.)

    Its AMAZING how much I now analyse what I spend - 2 months ago I wouldnt have even given it a passing thought - and now am scrutinising every penny! pmsl! But its working! :j

  • Did someone mention food? Choc Brownies... hmmmmmm.

    Well done MC.

    On days/months when you feel you are maybe not achieving as much as you would like, think back to your pre-MSE, pre-DFW days and think how much you have changed upstairs (eg- your mindset, not your duvet cover!). That is the most important thing that must Click into place after the LBM.
