no need to back up my address book anymore - lost my phone day after last post...
But kind friend has given me old phone and carphone warehouse are doing free sim cards when you buy £10 credit.
It will last for a while as I have nobody to call anymore0 -
hmmm guess its time for sim card wallet? like credit card wallets? hehe you can keep all your sim cards with various text messages and numbers from your old pals who u dont talk to anymore etc etc?

I apologise if I am repeating another post. Lloyds Chemist branches are selling a "gizmo" that backs up a sim card for £1.99 reduced from about £14. It has its limitations, as it is fairly basic and only has two functions. You insert a sim card in it and it will copy the address contents and store them. You can then restore them or write them to another sim card at a later date. That's it, there is no editing or selecting function, it is all or nothing. It overwrites its own memory or the sim card memory each time you use it so you cannot back up more than one sim card, nor can you add its contents to an existing sim without losing that sim's existing contents. However it is a useful address backup device at a bargain price.0
