Yeah they love it - someone posted it on my DFW stripeysocks diary - so now they are addicted - hence the large quantity of oats, sugar, cooking marg needed for the six months - thanks though. They are lovely but 8oz of each ingredient makes the store cupboard go down quick!!

Thanks v much for posting the link means I have it forever now ta x

  • OK got this to £300.60

Budget going to be set at a challenge of £300 for everything except top up kids stuff (clothes) Ikea disasters and miscellaneous for which I have a budget of £50-£100.

    If spend 300 on food/household stuff - then that's 50 a month for all the dried/tinned/store stuff

    DOable?????????

  • Ok - so new lodger moves in next week - £300 a month.

So only going to take the £300 from this money to use as our 6 month shopping budget. Will take cash and I think far harder with cash when shopping- and when its gone its gone.

Now am nervous............doesnt any one know if you can print out the mysupermarket list? :)

  • You can, at the top of the page, there is an option to print (next to book a delivery slot). I did it yesterday and it worked fine, even offered to split the list by supermarket too which i thought was rather natty :)
  • ooooh thank you scrummymummy

    mucho appreciated:)

Just cleared space in the garage for the mega shop - and locating shelves from the attic for a 'willing' brother to erect for me :) Its nice and cold out there - so all should be OK

  • Co-op have a bogoff on dishwasher tablets at the mo which works out at just about the same as the ones on my list so I can take them off if i get enough here - another cut woo hoo ;)

Thank you all so much this mysupermarket thing is pretty nifty

But we only have a wee tesco a wee co-op and a lidl here so I dont really use it much here but its handy for the mega shop - and also to compare offers!

Is it worth getting a few cartons of long life milk? Not as good as fresh I know, but I like to have 1 in the back of the cupboard just in case. The chinese supermarkets are good for spices too, I always get cinnamon and ginger from there, cheaper than supermarkets for 4 x the amount.
    Booo!!!

I just bought 12 jars of salad cream ( I like the healthy eating tesco one) mainly because I suspect it's going to be discontinued. The 3rd tesco I looked in had some in stock and at 20p less than I paid last time I bought it. Luckily sb date is 12 months away.
