it's local government. I've only paid into it for a year on my part time money. I need to money now each month and it would be really handy to have if and when I go full time. I'm not married, no children, so if I died in service, it wouldn't really matter about the money that would be paid out, the same way it would if I had children etc.

The big plan in my head is to be back earning at least 25k by July 2010 - ideally 28k which is what I left my old job on (when I need to look to get a new mortgage deal, I know I can get one on 28k because I did 18 months ago). If i get an offer in the merger in the area Ithink I'll get one (and if I decide I want it), I will be back in full time work and on somewhere between 17-20k depending on the post, so I'll be on my way to my goal. I thought I could maybe dip out for a year or so until I can properly afford it.

back from ballet....now I am wishing I had been running this morning. I get to this time of day and think I would love an evening mooching in front of the TV (I am a natural lazy person without a doubt) but shall be donning the old trainers and pounding the streets.

Len that is a fantastic pace and I am jelous...we shall wait to see if you can do it at the Leeds meet ;)
Now there's an offer I cant refuse :D

I think that's true - the Leeds meet thread didn't really pick up until after Manchester, so once the Leeds meet is over, people will want to plan their next trip.

We just need to keep bumping it occasionally so it doesn't get completely forgotten about.
