Free (£70) tastelondon card, 2,000 available

Steph, I was thinking, from JOarna's post that, yes, if we got the "draw" message we must be in the first 2000 so that IS good news. Because I certainly did not get any offer for a free one month tiral or anything else.

Ditto! I thought it was weird how the TasteLondon site loaded so quickly then after entering my details again I got same message that we would get the free one month trial one! Oh wells...I guess I will need to wait and see what will arrive through the post :think:

But how do I get a free month? I never got anything to say I got a free month instead it didn't say that anywhere on the site. All I've done is signed up for a draw which I could have done anywhere and as said wasted 15 minutes doing this! I don't think MSE mislead anyone and if you look I did also post that. I wasn't having a go at MSE I was just stating a point that it was a pointless endeavour!

Oh and what I was responding to was the fact that someone had posted earlier saying that "no one's applications had gone through at all" refering to those done in the first 20 minutes or so hence why I said it was a pointless endeavour!

I spent 15 minutes trying to get the page to repond then got a message saying entered only to be told actually I probably hadn't! Sorry but to me it was worth posting to say that this deal was pointless!

Waah! waah! I want it for free! I want it now, I don't want to wait, and I don't want my email address used, and they said it was "first come first served from 2:00" and I took the day off work I WAS HERE FIRST AT 1:50 and now the site's gone down, but when it's working I've put my name in 65 times and my mum's name and my boyfriend's name and my girlfriend's name and my mates' names. What a waste of my precious life. Waaaaaah!

Only downside to that would be if the same message was being displayed after the 2000 entrants had been entered...

8 pages of complaining, moaning and legal threats, and it turns out they just used the wrong terminology :rolleyes:

I think you can get a free month anyway through Time Out or one of the other offers out there so if you don't have success with this perhaps try there?

LOL you said it! - the poor sods are prob being inundated with dodgy emails from all that are peeved about the 'draw' remark.. we are a funny bunch! All that received a year free membership will have to have a big meet up and moan!

Sorry I hadnt seen that post and got over excited - fingers crossed that we get the years membership but if not, Ive coped with toptable and lastminute deals until now

System

1. It was the first 2000 entrants.
2. If you got a confirmation message you probably got through.
3. Give them 24 hours at least to send out confirmation emails. Then complain if you do not get one. You are wasting time complaining now when you probably got through.
