Am I the only one distinctly underwhelmed with the choice of restaurants?
The only one I can get excited about is the Lock in Tottenham (The best restaurant in North East London). All the others are rather - meh!
Still, shouldn't look gifthorses in the teeth, etc...0 -

Dan, you need to give restaurants you've never heard of a chance.
Cafe Mode in Endell Street in Covent Garden is fantastic and you can use the card all week in there. The chain of The Real Greek restaurants are brilliant too, a friend and I ate till bursting in there for £21!
Give them a try!Barclaycard - £7.72/M&S card - £1347.55/overdraft - £750/N Rock loan - £512.56/First Direct loan - £4442.58

It's no surprise, surely? The best and most popular restaurants are unlikely to have to resort to deals like this to get customers through the door.0 -

Looking through the restaurants there are loads of good ones listed, ranging from chains such as Prezzo, right through to excellent individual eateries - I was quite impressed really and that comes from one who eats out in London on a fairly regular basis. It's no surprise, surely? In the current economic climate popular restaurants are struggling to attract diners through out the week with the top end restaurants in London offering deals, cheaper menus (especially on lunch service) and closing on less popular days. Times are hard in the restaurant trade and this could work in the favour of the Taste London card as businesses seek out new ways to increase the foot flow through their establishments.0 -
Does anyone know if this works if you're on the free trial?
My boyfriend wants to join and I thought I'd recommend him before my free trial expires, and wondered if I still got the £10 M&S vouchers?0
