That seems a fair response from tastelondon, good of them to respond to this thread. With all the best will in the World these offers will always overload even the most resilient server if it suddenly receives tens of thousands of hits simultaneously.

Now I'll just wait and see if I was one of the luck ones.

To be fair my complaint was because I got told I had successfully entered the draw and then someone phoned up and found out that none had gone through. Now personally yes I do think that's unfair as I had wasted time trying to enter. If I had tried to enter and then been told you haven't been successful ce la vie but that isn't what I was told.

And yes I am aware but I am also aware of what the original notice said and at the time that I posted my complaint (which I have been defending on here) what was apparent was that there seemed to be a change of rules and that the people who entered in the first 20 minutes hadn't. Now since then obviously things have changed, although whether those of us who did enter in the beginning have got cards no one knows.

Also I know they wouldn't have updated their structure just for this and I have never suggested that they should. As said it doesn't make any sense. I am just annoyed at the fact that there's a chance that those of us who were actually possibly the first in the que so to speak will end up without one. I am happy for those that recieve won but that doesn't stop me being annoyed at the shambles that this was.

Email the bloke that just sent that message - they will not discount your initial entry as the site went down and people were obviously frantic about retrying. If you were in the first 2000 - and entering at 2:04 you DEFINATELY would have been - because noone else could get through at such time.
I relayed the message that was said to me on the phone, in good faith.

The fact you reentered, you probably got both! - but they will only send you the free yearly one - it wasn't possible to enter with the same details twice, as dislayed in their T&C's anyway.

At worst we have encountered technical difficulties, and perhaps been a little naive regarding the response rate, but we have certainly not been guilty of anything worse than this, and I hope that when you receive your memberships (either one month or 12 months) that you all thoroughly enjoy using them.
