Very mild day. Over the country, passing a Loch there was what appeared to be a tyre floating upright on it -most surreal looking. It was the Loch frozen under the surface - took a photo hope it comes out.

Bought a sofa at the auction - first furniture auction I've been to in years & I fell in love with a four seater chesterfield covered in velvet with Mahogony legs - paid a bit for it though - so that's for the house - obviously as it won't fit in the van!

well done choille...just imagine yourself stretched out on it with a box of chocs in front of your new fireplace...i think its a good omen for you getting your house up and running this year. i wish i lived nearer [as i expect a few others] so that i could muck in to help..:)


p.s. the "upright tyre " wasnt a loch monster frozen was it !!!!

I can't say Barney's in a better place now, because he's been in the best place for his last days.

Hard for you, alfie, but you have much to remember, and with great joy, I'm sure.

Alfie just wanted to send you a huge hug, Barney was a gorgeous boy and clearly had an amazing life with you.

That book looks really good, think I will see if my local library have a copy.
