Snowballs seem more relaxed this morning. Had to laugh when i opened the door this morning, the geese normally steam out first, but there was a tiny snow ball in the way, so the geeSe put their heads to one side and waited, then the snowball sat down, so thegeese went the long way round, coming almost full circle round the milking well to the door.
Snow, but quite wer snow, it will not last long. Ice o on troughs is fairly light this morning, buckets of water in the feed room aren't frozen.
Alfie, something occured to me. Not sure how long barney is going to be in for but you can add stuff to his food to make a little change. Things that occur to me as useful, and often sitting in our kitchena unused are mint and also tumeric. Tumeric is meant to be really good for oldies. One of my liveries feeds it, and we all stood round to watch, sure he would reject it or st least flehmen at it, but he tucked in and the orher horses all want to livk his bucket.....0 -

We had to do an illustrated talk for a group of farming ladies last night, so I found myself lugging the computer to a farm in the wilds of nowhere in particular, appropriately near the village of Nomansland. We explained how we accidentally grew into the plant selling business and found ourselves, eventually, in the very first Farmers' Market.
They were a good, polite audience, but it was no surprise that when we reached 'Question Time,' talk soon turned to hens, pigs and sheep! :rotfl:
Snow? Just rain, and back to muddiness again.0 -
Lots of snow here! Have found out my good wellies have big holes in them and my backup wellies are too small! Must have shrunk over the last year
I squeezed into them, but couldn't get any big socks on, so my feet are now freezing! I was hopping from one foot to the other, trying to get away from talking to the farmer next door, while still being polite!
Fixed the heating which decided not to work again this morning, so the radiators have just come on. My DS (2) just told me he's warm enough anyway
Apart from that, the roads are open, boo! And DD had to go to school, I was looking forward to building another snowman with her today. Although my feet won't be sorry.
Have a good day.Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0 -
No snow, only a little bit of rain but pretty windy here today.
I was busy doing computer stuff last night (finished 3am) so didn't get on the Forum. It seems I chose the right night from what you've all said. I take it the site was down?
