evening all.... blimey talk about you lot hitting the ground running...:rotfl: one minute the "marie celeste" and the next like the 9 o clock news !!:rotfl:

ive always been one that pops seeds in the fridge for 48hrs anyway, cant remember who told me too ??:o

i will join in the "melee" re smoking as a one off....not as a debate.
i agree with choille... i am a smoker and looked into the ecigs things and yes, whilst not taking in the "orribles" in the ciggy, taking in nicotine only also does have its dangers. i have an outside interest in these alternatives too. the point in my opinion is does one want to give up smoking [producing puffs of smoke] or give up nicotine ...end of. i PERSONALLY think that saying im not taking in nasties def!ats the object and for me would merely be an excuse to still put a white stick in my gob frequently and tell everyone ive "given up"... i have read reports from every angle and up to a very short while ago [this may have changed but not to my knowledge] this is NOT available on perscription as they are not a recognised aid to stop /aid giving up.[and as it is not supervised in production regs there are some that feel "anything " could be in them ,as in cigarrettes to get the user addicted.... there is as big if not bigger chance of addiction to the nicotine, intake being "pure" ,which can cause throat problems and respiratory problems .tests have shown a dramatic reduction in the air ways when used.
i want to give up smoking anything to do with putting nicotine plus extras of any type into my body. then i can say "ive given up smoking"

Ever tried nookie with a moving mass of spikes? I think I'd squeal a bit, too ;)
  • Me... i smoke... gave up when i was carrying the boys, and then when i started again... would never smoke in the house, so basically if i didnt go out for a few weeks then i wouldnt have a fag.. but when i did, and had a pint in my hand i would easily smoke 30 fags on a night out...

Now that we dont go out and party all night or weekend.. i only smoke when i am stressed in work, so basically i am starting to smoke more and more...

For me personally its either give up completely or smoke...( no subsetute or patches etc) plus to be honest, yes smoking IS bad for you, but then chemicals that are around us in everyday items we eat, use, breath in harm us...

so basically each to their own.....

Anyway lets get back to more intersting things.. like the noise foxes make while sh@gging, and Davesnave has actually sown his seeds
