seriously losing the will to live now......
I must have done something seriously wrong in a previous life..
had a phone call this morning, our works premises had been broken into and the stole our van etc and rammed one of the sets of security gates...:o
and the twonk that done it park it outside his house:rotfl: and a neighbour phoned the police, he is now in custardy, but our van is impounded for the time being... i know there is quite a bit of damage to the front, as its all on the floor..
I was in hell of a state this morning.... calmed down now.... but there is a meeting in the local community hall between 4.30 and 7 with the council and the development company, showing off the full plans for the supermarket....
At the moment havent got the energy to talk... but i am sure i will get quite vocal the minute i see the developers ungly mug:DWork to live= not live to work0 -
Oh ctc.....I'm so sorry. You poor thing. The only thing to say is maybe its all coming at once....you know? And you'll have loads of only good news for a while in the future.
LE yes, lots of spares....I just hate losing things once they are plants not just things with two unidentifyable leaves.
Yeah, is too early for squash but only had a couple of seeds and wanted them out of the way.

Quick question ...anyone know of anywhere its possible to buy cattle fly tags in small numbers? I just need half a dozen or so. Not sure if its even still allowed to use them for non cow purposes.....but we are having problems w/ flies already because of the dairy cows.

hi all..
well iv had farrier to DORA and aparently she must have been born/soon after had slightly deformed bones in her legs.[apparently can be inherited /in the womb/as a yearling through bad husbandry..] they bow.... which has put stress on her hoofs cos she wasnt walking right. i knew she was a tad pidgeon toed but only this year have they got worse. the x rays show she has slight deformity on FR bone that has maybe gone over to arthritus.... anyway farrier has great faith we can control it and he said hes seen worse and theyve reached a good old age.... shes had a good trim now but is on bute for a couple of days as it will be sore...
i have to try tomorow to seperate them all !! littluns in short paddock, barney and ruby in big grassy field...that will be fun !!! rubes loves the littluns and they her. its funny to see lori and rubes together , both yearlings yet lori walks under rubes !! they were playing tonight, running off with the brushes and hoofpick ?? and generally acting like fools !!
iv managed to "do" my back again ! have to take care over the next few days ....0 -
Caught up now, ate my dinner and am sitting with a nice cup of coffee.
Well last night I was so excited I could have burst! I received some beautiful gifts in the post yesterday. A wonderful "Ming (not) Mug" which shall hitherto be known as "Queen Ming". When I find my card reader I'll have to post some photos of what "Queen Ming" gets up to. Thank you so much Alfie, I shall treasure it forever See I told you it was treasure!
Maggie, I hope you get into your house soon. I'm sure you will.
Rhiw, lovely fruit trees! Do you get fruits off them or are they baby trees? If so how much fruit do they produce?
LE, if the flies are coming from the septic tank I guess you get the glut when they are all hatching at the same time, there must be millions of eggs in there. Maybe?
CTC, so sorry to hear your business place got done over. So pleased the thief was such a plonker though! Hope you get the van back soon and hope it doesn't cost too much to put right. Wishing you the best of luck for the meeting today/night! You tell em girl!
LIR, I hope you get your fly problem under control. I got bit by a horsefly once and my hand blew up like a marigold glove up to my knuckles. My fingers were normal size after the first knuckle. Then the swelling started heading up my arm and you could literally see it travelling up my arm!
Dave, I'm glad I'm not the only one whochats to my cat! Glad the dentist visit didn't turn out as expensive as you thought.
Winged one, sorry I can't offer any advice.
Anyway, must get off, I am tired. I think it's because I am cold, plus my body clock is starting to adjust to my new early starting hours at work.
Have a great night and day tomorrow all. See you later,

Sorry, forgot to mention, yes Alfie I did get package 2 - that's partly why I didn't make it on much last night! Got a bit engrossed reading!
Once again, thank you so much!
