If it goes into being a fuel source for the house then it will be money well spent on that score too! Pay for itself in no oil use in not very much time at all!

Will wait with bated breath to see how your new fuel supply works. S'pose a digester starts with the wet stuff, but you'll need a poo dryer if you intend to burn it? Keep us posted! :D

Rummer, snow! Great for staying in with a book but I guess you really dont want to know what the weather was like here today.

Parsnips in toilet roll inners nearly all germinating. Will move them into a bed soon, lined bed edges with onions in preparation.

Recall someone was saying their council tax bill was frozen, ours has just gone up £100 :(

Did you have sunshine :D? It has now started raining and the thick covering of snow is almost gone, this weather is so unpredictable!

Well I took my book back and I am now going to settle down and read my way through "yesterdays farm".

we have sunshine. Its so mild even my old horses are staying without rugs tonight. I've been padding around outside in summer canvas shoes and a light cardi ....no hat gloves, coat. I probably would have survived in a t shirt if working hard enough. :o

    hiya,
im a bit cross with myself as iv just written an epilogue and then accidentally "lost" it before i could post it
i will try again [but try and keep it shorter !!:rotfl:

i rounded up all the hoss's today, put them in the top paddock, farrier tmorow ... 9 trims to do. will catch 6, no problem but foal [well yearing now!] mini, ruby and dora will be a bit more effort !!

i had dentist tday, new one , previous one was a tad ruthless and im a wimp, but well pleased with this one.

still not sorted getting a hire lorry yet...either too big, too steep a ramp, or too small...... will have to go and look at some at hire places this weekend so i know at least what type/size im looking for !!

my son has offered to strip and repaint all the wood that makes up my verandah if " i remove all the ..." at which point i suggested the word "c**p"?? he proceeded by saying " i will just say your STUFF and not put it back !!" ......

So pretty! Do you drink cocktails there in the evening? I would, it looks heavenly (make mine a long island ice tea...seems appropriate for the veranda, or a Planter's Punch)...but I'd get nothing else done!

That looks idylic how lovely to sit there on a summers evening with a glass of something chilled and a good book or just to watch the world go by.

im actually quite "sad" and have seasonal cushions [colors!] in there.... nice reds and golds for winter to lemons and blues in the summer...

many an evening has been spent there [summer] wasting time !! its what made me say "yes" to this house... it was a tip but as i was leaving the viewing i stood at the gate and looked at the verandah [my gran and grandad had one] and just said YES.... it has an 8ft church pew [alas painted] in there.

p.s. LIR whats a planters punch ?? iv just had a suggestion for what it is from my son and it involves tobacco !!!!

alas the view is total privacy, trees etc but can smell the roses and watch the birds feeding...
