Guys, no problem, just a sense of humour failure elsewhere :o

    Thanks anyhow :)

Just went to watch Edwardian Farm, loved Coldharbour Mill, but how can fleeces be worth so little nowadays?

Dry today but it looks as if those to the south got soaked and those in Scotland deep frozen.

Reintroduced the blue into the coop after 5 days separation, it was like the blitzkreig with normal pecking order restored in a matter of minutes. Not solved :(

Have been researching the air source heat pumps and had the first system quote. But until RHI is announced, its not possible to work out if its a good idea and, unlike ground source and water source, they currently need planning/lawful development approval though permitted development status is likely to be introduced this year, subject to a noise limit. But had a good chat with local Environmental Health and think positioning should be fine. Installing one would mean losing the low section of the woodstore, no real harm as I want to extend it elswhere to take more unseasoned (and cheaper) wood.

You get two types cold & hot air. The guy we know has a hot air system - suplies all the hot water & heating for a 4 bed, 2 bath house. Cost just over £5,000 installed. In 6 months it's cost £500 in electric. No bore holes - fitted into the wall of house. This was done in a new build that is well insulated & was done as it was built so possibly cheaper than retro fitting?

I appear to be having feather tail pecking thing going on & suspect it's my tiny Scot's Grey hen 'Pyscho Hen'. Who is the size of a pigeon. She chases the monster Orps about & is a complete bully. She has chased my fat cat, who is normally really laid back up a tree before.

Well it is freeezing. Seems to be coming up through the floor. I think it's because it's windy it feels so much colder.

Coldharbour Mill is very close to the smallholding we should have bought in 2003, had we not been so wet behind the ears. :(

I generally avoid the area, but might make an exception to visit there sometime.

Nodded off after that bit. :o

Got the ex-Christmas tree under cover & ready to burn on the 15th!:)

Sorry, psycho hen. My spelling eh?

Well spent a fretful time - hours, trying to get my head around turbo-lister. I have been fittering about most of this evening & quite a while this afternoon, only to discover you can't do a free weekend listing using turbo listings.

    Where's the axe....?
