Does anyone else think this is really disgusting...

In the White Company catalogue, the owner of the company goes on about how you can use a top sheet on the bed, and so remove the need to change the duvet cover in between guests...ugggghhhhhh unless your guests sleep in a perfectly straight line all night, it's disgusting. Isn't it?
For a moment there you had me worried. I use a top sheet on all our beds so I don't have to keep washing the duvet covers - although they DO get washed fairly frequently - but I WOULD NOT do this on our guest bed - the whole lot would get washed - in fact I think when I do have guests they only get a bottom sheet as I know I will have the duvet cover washed ... please tell me I am not disgusting :rotfl:
In fact I just bought a new set for DSs bedroom while in town this afternoon - as a change set:D so when I do wash the one he has on (and it's pale so very frequently) I can now pop the 'second' set on straight away (oh and our cat's a bed sleeper - mine and DDs usually!)
Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY

Busy day again today... one of those weeks. Really not getting much done. Plus baby had imunisations yesterday, and so has been really clingy! Will hopefuly get a bit of a blitz in tomorrow though, as we're only going out at lunchtime other than taking DH to work. She normally stays asleep for a bit when I get her out of the car after we drop him off, so hopefuly I can have a HHC (or a 10minC at least!) and get a load done then. With any luck.

Hi Emily - good to see you. Sorry to hear about your Mum's redundancy. Even if she doesn't need the money, as you say, if she saw it as a way of getting out of the house, it will upset her. You'll have to encourage her to find something else to deliver. I'm certainly still getting lots and lots of leaflets for various things through the door.

Or perhaps she could take up some voluntary work?

Thanks for the suggestions. I've been thinking along the same lines myself

evening everybody - I keep getting interupted by the phone !!

soappie - glad they found her -cant help worrying even when its not your family - silly old so-in-so will have to get help for her.
SS supergirl thats brilliant - glad they seem nice people - and I am still working towards the flat being better presented by august too! DD1 will be on her best behaviour - they always are in other people's houses!! I am ok just needing my treatment for my muscles but having to wait as I now have yet another clinic appt next week!
emily I am sorry to hear about your MUm being made redundant - there are firms that organise leaflet deliveries - maybe she could try that or join you in your voluntary work - hope you enjoyed your visit with her. oops same suggestions as soappie!!! Just had another idea - do you have a hospital near her - the WRVS are always glad of helpers with meeting and greeeting (like boddy does) or doing the library book trolley around the wards - when I go to my cancer clinic its the WRVS that brings round tea and coffee.
elly if you click on your own name on the left hand side you have the option of seeing all your posts so you can find your list that way!

have decluttered my desk while I was talking on the phone!
also wiped it and put everything back tidy!

    coffee time!!

    Hi all! :hello:

Its been a very busy week at work, (not that I'm complaining), so the flying is going very slowly this week! I'm going to have a huge list to catch up on at the weekend! All I've done tonight is a quick tidy round, cooked dinner & most importantly baked chocolate cakes!

I did skim thro todays posts, hugs to everyone that needs them.
