Will try and get rid of headache and eat and then get cracking at 7pm in 15s - thanks for the motivation all - i'll give it back when i'm finished with it :D - goal to have the blasted thing written in draft before bed tonight.

ETA woo hoo - I have a bronze medal :j

Busy day, but got quite a bit done. Off to mash some spuds and mum and dad will be here any minute. Won't get chance to catch up later on so I'll see you all tomorrow. xx

P.S. GnB....don't think you're being over cautious after all you and the LO have been through. I'm sure she'll be fine but at least you know to keep an extra eye on her.

Mumof477 - Big hugs for your DS. I hope he's feeling a little better today. That's a horrible thing to have happened
SummerMoon - hope DH gets a better job quickly. Re mad max - I assume the bathroom has a lever type handle? If you changed it to a round, turny type one, he'd not be able to open it
Mudders - with potty spotty dotty stripes, you could try giving her breakfast and dinner?
G&B - big protective and healing vibes for you LO.

Had a really nice surprise when I got home and opened the post to find a £50.00 premium bond prize :D

But I need to go and fly and do something. I've only really done the kitchen this week and it's beginning to show!

    ~geek alert~

I'm going to be really geeky here and expand on ZCC72's answer. Just because I can.

When your computer saves a file to the hard disk it often splits it up into little bits to make use of spare space on the disk. This means when it wants to retrieve that file for you to see it, it has to scurry around finding all the little bits that make up that file or document.

When you defragment, you tell the computer to look at all those little pieces of files that are scattered around all over the place and join them up into one space (bit like a jigsaw puzzle) so that when you say 'show me', it can do it quicker.

You don't really need to do it every week. In fact, you don't need to do it every month unless you're running out of disk space. I have never done it in my life and my computer(s) still run brilliantly.

    ~geek alert off~

thanks v much. i will know who to beg for it advice sorry typing left handed, tot on knee.
