    Morning All xx.

I didnt get on last night.
As a rule in the house the kids have to have a half hour of excercise to get a half hour of gaming time on their various game consoles........
DS2 went out on his bike at 6pm......came back in at 6.20, his mouth was full of blood and he was crying:( I asked what happened and he said he was stopped by 8 kids....all of whom he knew...and 2 of them one boy and one girl started to hit him!!!.....He said he got the better of the boy but couldnt hit the girl (as I would be cross) well anyways the boy had tripped him up and when he was getting up the girl ran over and "booted" him in the face so hard his teeth came through his lip!!! So we went into casualty who said lots of ice lollies ect and asked him would he like some pain medication, when DS2 told them what happened they asked would I go to the police as DS2 said one of them ran over with a mobile phone and put it into his face and said smile!!!!!! He also thought one of the boys were recording it on their mobile!!! So we went to the police, and they said they were going to leave it for two weeks (so that the kids cant put a counter claim in and say that my DS started it.......and the police are then able to say why did you not go to the Dr or police? immediatly calling into question the validity of what they are saying) then approach each child that was there.....he said its a very serious assult both GBH and ABH and would we be willing to go to court if needs be? I said yes, the childs face is bruised all over his mouth is still swollen, and last night he was complaining of his teeth being sore!! Nurses were disguisted and kept on saying the kids are getting younger and younger....please go to the police as maybe a call from them to their doors will frighten them enough that they dont do it again!!

That's outrageous. I hope that your DS recovers soon. Are the monsters that did it at his school? If so, I would also advise the Head - and as for the police saying they would leave it 2weeks, I cannot understand the logic in that. They should act immediately, to get any evidence they can before it is destroyed/washed. There may also be CCTV footage of the incident, which should be collected asap before theres any possibility of that being lost (recorded over, whatever..) I am absolutely appalled by the reactions of the police-it's not surprising that happy slapping, assaults, theft, etc are on the increase if this is how they handle it. OOoh, I am really cross! Please please please press the issue with them.....

Turning to flying, feeling more positive today! Have got back from dressmaking course, decluttered lunch, and am off to visit friend. Will have little time for flying today (until 7pm anyway) so will tackle a few jobs when I get back.....

I haven't caught up on all the thread yet, off to do that now with a :coffee:, hugs to all in need, and also to those who don't!!

ETA - what difference will 2 weeks make? The toads will have longer to corroborate their stories. Talk to the highest ranking officer you can.....if you can't get action, get a written statement from the officer who asked you to wait for 2 weeks, expaining what they want you to do and why. This, together with the photos, can be used (if necessary) to explain why the Police weren't involved sooner.

    Sorry for ranting!

Afternoon, we're home safe and sound. We stayed at my lovely mum and dads last night as i was really ill and not up to looking after LO. My icky tummy turned into a 24hrs of diarrhoea and vomiting, probably picked it up in hospital.
LO is recovering fine though she's still quite sore. Will have to keep a really close eye on her though as there was a baby in the ward with a highly contagious aortic infection(think that was what it was called) and with LO's existing heart conditon really hope she hasnt been exposed to it as that would be a disaster.

Mumoffour - sorry to hear about your son, what a horrible thing to happen. Hope they get the little thugs:mad:

Any news on your OH Triker? Is he doing any better. Just read your last post - that doesnt sound so good, hope he is better soon.

Good news on the clonoscopy(sp?) toots, must be a weight off your mind.

Hope everyone else is ok - hugs to those i have missed.

Also having problems with Mad Max, he is destroying my house. He has disovered he can get out of the bathroom(where he lives when we are out of the house) and is rummaging through the bins, eating everything in sight(even DS2 dirty nappies!!!). Really dont want to get rid of him as he can be soooo sweet aswell, but the destruction is getting too much for me. Any doggy owners out there can give me any advice

You could try a dog cage/crate training. Sounds awful but apparently dogs feel more secure in them
The problem with common sense is its not very common:rotfl:
