    Hello all
I've been AWOL for a while, sorry! Have been flying, but have uni deadlines coming up and WE'RE MOVING!!!! Very good news. Means I need to scrub this flat from top to bottom in the next two weeks though. Going to buy some mould remover stuff from town this afternoon.

Huge hugs to everyone who needs them, sorry I can't catchup with this weeks thread, its just too long! Did notice Mumoffour - big big hugs to you and your son. Hope it gets sorted.
Summermoon - our dog used to jump on door handles to open the doors, so my dad turned the door handles upside down, because Guiness (the dog) couldn't push the handle up. The other thing we did was put bolts on the outside of the doors and lock them when we went out so he couldn't get into the bathroom or kitchen. Not sure if either of these would work for you... xxx

I saw on tv once that a naughty dogs owner put some pebbles in a small coke bottle and when the dog done something naughty they shook it (the bottle) quite vigoursly(sp) near the dog!! It seemed to work as a shock method....the noise made the dog frightened and he stopped what he was doing.......resulting in everytime the owner even reached for the bottle the dog immediatly stopped!!
Im not a dog owner....but i have studied psychology and pavlov's dogs (horrid) but it showed classic conditioning!!!!

    Well
lots of phone calls made and received
apology (verbal) from bal trans company (D) who, having told me last week that it was NOT their fault have now accepted that it is, will refund what I have paid them, refund interest as I have had to pay the two accounts which were supposed to have been paid off and then 'will close the case with a goodwill gesture' I think this is financial speak for 'we will send you a cheque':D.
And I have had a goodwill gesture from the other financial institute with whom I have had a 'disagreement' as I did not think much of their customer service:D so THEY had a long and detailed letter in which I told them what they should be doing...
Wake up companies - it is not hard to give good customer service, it takes moments to phone/ask and check if your customer is satisfied. Angry/unhappy customers tell their friends! And share it on line too!
(If anyone wants to head hunt me...):rotfl::rotfl:;)here I am!
Rain stopped -washing on line and footy boots drying in the sunshine - so that I can wash the cloth with the towels tonight.
    Bathroom cleaning in progress.
    HHC anyone? 11.30?

    (((hugs Summermoon and OH)))

    Morning all

Toots - Tuesday now complete :)

No washing today, luckily as it's pretty dull out there. Bathroom/toilet completely done and computer desk aka study done earlier this week. Even the extras have been done over the last few days.

I think I'm pretty much up to date now, the spare rooms were done with my bedroom yesterday. I'll just make sure I dust and vacuum downstairs tomorrow so my weekend will be free.

    Off to catch up.

Mumoffour - hope your DS feels better soon.
  • MUMOF4 just read what had happened to your DS. What an nasty and horrid thing to happen, BIG BIG :grouphug: to your DS. Hope he recovers quickly.
