Is Toots all right? (No, I'm not nagging for my star!). I didn't catch the last few days of last week so she could be busy but I've been missing her posting today.

Her light is on and she is viewing this thread (so the screen says anyhow) at the moment so I hope so - Toots are you receiving.

Ladybirdintheuk - Polish your Boots!! :D

This evening I have decluttered my folks over the telephone.....it'sgood to talk! Unfortunately, still haven't flown. Completed 8 rows of a 2x2 rib for my brothers hat, went wrong and ripped it back. Starting over again. I don't think I'll have it done by Wednesday!

Will have to be v organised tomorrow - am taking a friend to Radiotherapy tomorrow am, going to Estate Agents in the afternoon, then taking other friends to WI in the evening. Somehow,I also have to fit in today and tomorrows flying.....I reckon it should take me 1 hour max for all tasks - I'll pop in for some HHC's and go, go, GO!!!

    Has Toots surfaced?

Try... it saves energy, water and time ;) I convinced myself! I've got one with fold down racks so all my saucepans go in it. Plus I'd never have anyone round for meals if I had to hand wash the dishes!

I never have anyone round anyway  I really can't see how to fit one in - the current kitchen is sooo badly designed (and I use the word 'designed' very loosely!!!) that I don't have any spare space. Maybe I should make an effort to get a new one

So what have you got?? I love parcels :D

Nothing that exciting - few bits of food, tissues; choc and an elephant tape measure for mum for Mothering Sunday; choc red noses for my class for Fri. First time I've used them - it was free delivery! Quite surprised at the amount of packaging though!

    Hi all! :hello:

Rubbish start to the week here..I've done nothing at all this evening except cook dinner & clear up! Managed to spend ages on the phone then spent another age trying to find & hotel & decide on flights for a weekend away in a few months! :D Seemed a better idea than cleaning the kitchen at the time tho I know thats not really the point of being on here!! Will try harder tomorrow.. Haven't even read back any of the thread yet so hugs & good vibes to any that need them..
