    Evening all...

Thank you all so much for my lovely wishes, it was really nice to know that someone was thinking about me, sounds soft, but as I was working from home alone, it was nice to pop on and see little cakes and smilies just for me... You are all wonderful people... :D (I was even chuffed to get the automated email from MSE this morning... :rotfl: )

    Anyway, thanks x x x

On the cleaning front, didn't get much chance to do any more after my little burst this morning - DS has unloaded and loaded the DW for me and wiped all the worktops down - he's also kept me in coffee so that I can keep working... am flagging badly now ;)

I'm working away tomorrow, but really need to get some washing done so I am going to concentrat on that - I might put a wash on tonight and then I can hang it up in the morning before I go and put another one on then - that's if I can get out of bed... ;)

I want to watch Heroes on Three, but can't keep my eyes open. I might just tape it and watch it tomorrow... :)

OK, off to bed. Will attempt to do some of bathroom in the morning before I go... :) See you then...

Hi Emily, how you settling into the bungalow now, sounding cosy...
With the cooker, can you see where the smoke is coming from? I had a simillar tthing once when somehting had spilled down the bit where the gas came up - took me ages to find it. Hope that helps.

ETA: Wow, just re-read this, I must be tired - look at those spelling mistakes (sorry Greenbee and SS - you wouldn't emply me would you... :rotfl: )

I have been away since first thing this morning watching my nephew in a speech and drama competition - he was in 6 classes and got 6 1st class distinctions so we were well pleased - but the classes were spaced out and I didnt get home until 8.30!!! Its his sister's turn on wednesday but her classes are all in the morning.

In the afternoon I had to go to my cancer clinic.
I have known for a while that my tumour had grown again but was waiting for some definite news before I told you all. It has more than doubled in the last 3 months so it needs to be dealt with again.
I had a CT scan last week and went to get the results today. I wont bore you with all the details but as suspected I need more chemotherapy. First of all I have to have a colonoscopy and a bone scan to check if it's anywhere else that hasnt been spotted. I also have to fit in a weeks muscle treatment before I start the chemo as my chemo will last 18 weeks (6 x 3 weeks cycles) and I cant get my muscle treatment while on it and couldnt wait another 18 weeks!
I will be back at the clinic in 2 weeks to finalise my treatment start date and will have had my other investigations by then so lots going on.
It is hoped to start my chemo in 4 weeks time.

So now you know why I have been pushing myself to get things sorted in the house - I knew what was coming and how I will feel so need to get as much done as possible as 1 week in 3 I will not be feeling like doing much - except awarding stars!!!

sorry for being OT but I hope you will understand.

I am ok with it as I knew this was highly probable - I have had over a year without treatment and that was a huge bonus. I need you all to help keep me going over the next 4 weeks to get the place as tidy and clean as possible and get as many of my jobs from the list (thats why I started it!!) done before I start the chemo. lots of kicks up my bum needed!!!
    toots xx
