    Morning all

Rach - the funding - well, you know the project we were both involved with? It closes the end of this month. There's a little bit of money left. The project manager put in a bid to set up some sort of umbrella company to service the business groups etc. meaning the remaining money would be lost on overheads. My alternative proposal is to set up a small voluntary group of the ordinary people involved in the project who would keep the ethos alive and divvy out the money in grants for small organisations so it is spent on the community. We could also apply for other funding.

Frodders - sounds like you need a DW for medicinal purposes!

Emily - well done on working out the colours. Oven's - sorry, not my forte

Toots - well done to your nephew. And big, big hugs and coping vibes going your way. You are a very valued member of this board. We'll keep you going!

I'm really tired this morning. Never did get to watch the TV as the phone didn't stop ringing until gone 10pm.

I will do my best to get the kitchen floor washed tonight so that at least I can get a Monday star!

    Have a lovely day people

I am so sorry to hear that you need more chemo, your earlier ones must have been before I joined the thread.

I know you say meeting and greeting and stars keep you going, PLEASE don't over do it, when you are in treatment your health comes first, as we love and care too much to see you suffer, because of a load of stars.

So when the time comes, you MUST appoint a temp. deputy to meet, greet and do the stars, or the whole star thing is put on hold, and we can all do meeting and greeting.

Take care of your self, I just so wished at times like this I lived nearer to some of you.
