Evening all, had a busy day today, got up early to put tea on in the slow cooker, progress hampered as its my sons birthday today - he heard me get up at 5am and he was up and running! He is 11 today but has learning difficulties so more like a 5 year old, I suggested he went back to bed, of course there was no chance of that!!
Done to level 2 today so am pleased with that, though find it frustrating that inspite of everything I did last week, only seem to turn around and there is clutter everywhere again, I almost find myself looking forward to the flylady lists being posted as I know I am going to get to tackle those areas again. I'm sure it will get easier - at the weekend, sorted a couple of bin bags for the charity shop so those things wont need to be decluttered again.
Today I have also done an inventory of the freezer, kitchen cupboards and garage stocks and have to say am feeling rather pleased with myself as a result - I'm determined to (as much as possible) use those up first.
Hope you are all having a good day today!!!
    I'm not a failure if I don't make it, I'm a success because I :tried!

But has he washed up?? :p
I don't think he knows how to! But he was really pleased when he came home tonight that I'd worked so hard today. He commented on it several times and gave me a big hug!
I'm really paying for not eating enough today. All I had for lunch was about three mouthfuls of cheese! I fell asleep so didn't notice I was hungry! I had a bit of a funny turn earlier and feel very tired, so am going to bed now. See you all tomorrow. I'm off to see mum in the morning, so won't be about til later, altho I might be able to get on here first thing, not sure yet.
    Night all, sweet dreams xx

Natty - hugs; take it easy

Crafty - I have 3 colours of pegs and a 3 sided washing line ;) I bought the pegs in a bag of 3 mixed colours :D

Wilf - congrats to DS and good luck with the selling!

Rose / greenbee - I'm 5'10 and my back aches after washing up for a while. Will have to look into higher worksurfaces whan I eventually decide to spend my money and get the kitchen done!

phil - hugs for you and yours

soappie - sounds promising; well done!

I need to write my little list for the week (going to stick to one-a-day at the moment to be realistic!!) and look at tomorrow's. Got to drive to work in the morning and then off to the place we're staying on Camp (more than an hour away) to look round, then back to work, and then home again in the evening

Most units have adjustable legs, but make sure you do get the surfaces as high as you can so that chopping/cooking etc are comfortable. As for the washing up, you can solve that before you get the kitchen done... get a dishwasher :D

Just dropping by briefly, as rubbish day at work (I'm not the only one though, everyone was complaining!), resulting in 14 letters home . Home late, too tired to fly - I'll try catching up tomorrow.

Hugs to phil and G&B and her DD.

    See you tomorrow!

I'm still here & in again this week.
have done a quick s&s of the kitchen but as disaster has struck & the tumble dryer has decided to only do cold air when there is a load of bedding in it wanting to dry have had to give up on downstairs as DH has all his tool box contents out trying to mend it so have cleaned the bathroom instead
