Rose we have a chainsaw which was about £50 from a DIY place and it is fine for 'everyday' use but wouldn't fell an oak.

Same here, that and window cleaning, that stems from Brownie camp when we were made to clean Village Hall windows and I was allergic to Windowlene.. Hands like oven gloves:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Not funny at the time!!!

    My extras for this week:
    1. Polish Boots (please shoot me if I don't get this done - this is the third week it is on the list!!)
    2. Find out about Child Trust Funds and pick one
    3. Mend my skirt
    4. Return photo albums and swap for smaller ones granny can hold
    5. Take some more piccies of Izzy and get some printed out and put in albums for granny and us

Baby fell asleep on me... I'm trying to keep her awake as much as I can in the daytime, but she is completely KO'd! I've taken my chance and whizzed round to finish the last few bits. Now when she wakes up I can concentrate on playing, rather than making her watch me wash up ;) Will still try and get some extras done later (if nothing else, can do a few bits done tonight when DH gets ome), or maybe get a head start on another room.

No not really. I'm 5 7". I think it's just being in one position for ages.

Your work surfaces are probably too low. I'm 5'8" and standard heights are too low for me. My kitchen is higher than standard. Unfortunately my utility room isn't... as well as all the other problems, the builder was short, so paid no attention to me 'I want high surfaces' request!

Dusty - My little one is 7 (yr 2) - I did get my a times tables chart and I bought some of the Brain Training Games for his DS etc - but he just uses the chart to cheat!!! I know its a horrible thing to say, but he seems to be going backward instead of making progress.
