Just doing a bit of recycling... Collection tomorrow. Does anyone know if they take old pillows? They do collect textiles and shoes

It probably varies from area to area but even though ours take textiles and shoes they left the pillows behind last time I put some out.

Throws hung out on the line, half the washing was dry and I've brought that in and folded it and put it away.

I'm working up the enthusiasm to go upstairs and sort through my books. I need to get rid of some now DH's have taken up all the bookcase space and mine are shoved in the wardrobe. After spending so much time over the last few months making everything tidy I can't bear having things in the wrong place. What's left will have to stay there until I can afford a small bookcase but I must do something.

greenbee - my boss can't string a written sentence together (or an oral one come to that) and it does my head in. My dad drummed it all in to me. DH just deletes things if they're not up to his standard!!

no comment on your boss ;) It's one of the things I'm toughest on my team about - if their written communication isn't up to scratch then I don't care how good they are. They need to be able to explain it!

... and I do the same thing with CVs when people apply to me... sadly I don't get to deal with the early phases of grad recruitment, just the final assessments  still, hopefully there will be some good ones in there.

ZCC72 - are you sure you don't want to spend silly hours reading contracts??? because I'm more than happy to share :p

    Hi everyone

I'm in again this week. The house is looking pretty good so it shouldn't be such hard work this week.

Mondays are Marvellous!! - kitchen and dining area COMPLETE :j :j

I've also had to nip back to school because DD forgot something she needed for class this afternoon. I'm going to have some lunch, pop to the library and plant some seeds this afternoon.

    1. If you want to post a list and strike out what you have done -go 'advanced' (its down at the bottom of the messages) and then highlight the line you want to strike out -press the S with the line through it (its near the end of the list of symbols above your page) and it will say'strike' at each end -when you post your message it will show with a line through it!
