I'd forgotten how boring reading CVs was... why do all these grads have such poor written communication skills? Overuse of what they think is corporate language I can just about forgive (I hope to god they're not all that pompous, but it tends to go with the territory in the final year of uni  ), but bad spelling and grammar I find totally unacceptable!0

I've done another lot of washing up, and hung out the wet washing to dry. It looks a bit better in the kitchen now, the tray on the top of the bin has gone, and the worktop is nearly empty. The stuff in the LR is now in the kitchen and there is still loads of stuff on the cooker, but I'm getting there!
Don't give up Wilf, you can do it."Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together."

Wilf - well done to your son, bet he is proud as punch, how old is he.
Doing really well with the kitchen, just having a rhubarb crumble break, as you do.
going to put the washing on the line and then I really want to get the kitchen finished by 11:30The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Emptied the indoor bins ready for black bin day tomorrow.
Just put the throw from the settee on to wash. The stuff on the line is drying well so I should be able to make room to hang the throw out and it looks like some rain the rest of the week.0 -
Just doing a bit of recycling... Collection tomorrow. Does anyone know if they take old pillows? They do collect textiles and shoesThe Grass may look greener

Hi Madhouse, great name! Welcome to the thread it's helped me loads being here.
I'm going to do some more washing up. Am losing my enthusiasm now. Getting tired from my early start."Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together."
