    Morning all

    Glorious day here.

First lot of washing on the line. Just going to put the WM on again

Busy this morning with football/party but after lunch I hope to finish both the garden and the garage - this may interfer with any children being fed today but hey that will save some cash too.

Jo of all the things to fall out over cat poo is really not one of them love. We know you was just ranting like we all do x

    Morning all

Didn't come on yesterday at all. Had a lovely day out with DH - up at 6.20am and on the bus by 7! We had a lovely 13 mile walk and then a couple of pints in Oxford and then came back here and had a chinese takeaway. In bed by 10.30 which is unheard of for us! I do have a big blister though which is odd as I rarely get them!

Need to crack on with my list today - the place is showing signs of neglect!! But I think first I'm going to have another cuppa, some breakfast and watch last night's casualty. We're at in laws for lunch but have til 1pm, flying should only take a couple of hours.

I'm doing a 60 fling thing today too, 'cept I forgot to add them up doh! anyway, I'v got a large bin bag and I plan on filling it.

Polly you always seem so organised and peaceful, life at your house sounds lovely, and the saus and tom pie sounds lush, got the recipe? or is it just a bung it in thing?

I've hung the washing on the rads to dry naturally cause teenie's got my back door key (he lost his  ) so I can't get out the back, I'm fed up of telling him.... it's a fire hazard if nowt else.....he can pay by doing my car today oh yes indeedy, he will pay.

I've loaded the DW and will S&S the kitchen shortly, opened the blinds and the windows to let the sun in, and nipped to the shop for gas/leccy (that's £50 this week now-I wouldn't care I'm very careful and hardly in, will have to review) sorted the fridge, put a new bag in the kitchen bin and tidied the living room (last nights cups etc) will be going round to OH's in a bit.

One load of washing just about to be hung up another load put in WM, DW on OH & DD2 packed off to visit in-laws DD1 tucked up in bed not feeling well.

    Advice needed
Does anyone have experience of glandular fever, DD1 has been on antibiotics for a week now and no difference to throat infection, she has also been going to bed early and needing to be woken inthe morning and I am starting to wonder about glandular fever, shes only 10 and I thought it was something which only adults got.

lil_me - well done with your CMA I have a TMA to finish off this morning, its the calculus (sp?) part of the course and I am not enjoying it at all

julie - sorry for passing the cold on mine is feeling much better this morning.

natty - sounds like terrible treatment that you have received, I would definetly complain once you feel up to it.

triker - well done to OH for stopping smoking, keep you head down sounds like the X box may be well used over the coming weeks.

    okay plan for today
    am
    study
    wm x2
    soup for lunch

    pm
    garden
    ironing
    evening meal
bits out & ready for school/work tomorrow

Cuppa time, washing hung out and then its the books for me.

JJeff - my DD got glandular fever when she was about 15. She had two really acute weeks where she just spent the time in bed. The Dr initially thought it was just a throat infection and put her on antibiotics. But, within two days of being on them, she came out in a rash (apparently this can happen with ABs and gland. fvr). So we stopped the ABs and she had a blood test which confirmed it. She was up and down with it for about two years in all.

jjef - i don't think it is just adults, worth going back to the Dr. They can do blood tests for glandular fever I think. With the usual warnings about not taking medical advice on the internet, there's some info here which might help
