Thanks for all the positive vibes, I've been back today to where I lost it again, even checking in bins (yes with gloves) around where I last had it, over garden walls/fences etc and no sign, hunted around the house no sign (it's actually loads easier because it's tidy). No shops have had anything handed in. Never mind.

ZCC thank you for being honest, it's so nice to know there are some honest people x

Managed to get 2 washer loads washed and dried ON THE LINE today, unfortunately not made much progress in my room, I just can't face the gastly thing. Done some studying, finished a book. I need to look at my assignments however as there is 3 due soon (2 written 1 computer marked)

SOAP BOX - 50p per unit of alcohol, that will make absolutely bum all difference.........apart from lining pockets!

Right, time to download these assignments then bed time. Goodnight all xx
One day I might be more organised...........

Lil_me.. if I have to study so do you!! I've got 3 assignments on the go too.. it will be so much easier at uni when I just have 1 at a time on one topic instead of 3 completely different unrelated things!

Well it's nearly 4am and I am wide awake as I have had so much sleep the past 24 hours I think my body is now starting to rebel by keeping me awake when I should really be asleep!

I have been sitting here clearing out two cupboard drawers while watching some trashy t.v. - wow is there some boring stuff on in the early hours of the morning.

Sorry I went missing the past couple of days - I am sure a few of you spotted my facebook status's regarding my stomach pains etc..

What I thought was the vomiting virus (without the actual vomiting!) turned into something more serious, although I don't know what as I couldn't get a diagnosis from the hospital. Yep that's right I ended up going to casualty in the early hours of Saturday morning as I couldn't settle down to sleep and the pain gradually got worse and worse over time. I had been managing it with plenty of rest and painkillers, but even these weren't touching it :( And I really thought I would have to call an ambulance out, but Dave drove to hospital - think he went through a couple of red lights as well he was that worried!! Anyway after an agonising 5 hour wait I got seen by this Dr who proceeded to tell me that I didn't look in pain, he wasn't going to examine me so I could go away and he would make an appointment for 9.30am - eeeps not good considering it was 5.30am at that point and my poor Dave had been awake for 25 hours.. He kind of gave a piece of his mind to the Dr especially the fact he had been waiting for 5 hours, with me in pain and unable to settle for too long, only for the Dr to say they had other people to see that had been in the waiting room for over 3 hours..hmm!! It also made him annoyed that the people that were being seen before us were those that had been in drunken brawls and had got cuts and bruises brought on by themselves..

I mean how did they not know I had something major wrong with me that didn't show itself in text book ways!! Besides my blood pressure was raised 168/99 and they didn't even sort that out.. I mean what on earth is this hospital doing..oh yeah I forget it has the worst cases of sending people home that are ill/injured and they get worse or in worst case scenarios die!! Ok so I wasn't that bad, well I hope not anyway..

So the upshot of this is that I have spoken to my own Dr after we got home, he has given me some strong painkillers and has done a referral to the Bupa hospital locally. Dave decided enough was enough and we are now going private - thankfully he gets Bupa with his job, but we haven't used it since he got it. I've also got to take it easy for a week, no heavy lifting, rest as much as I can and not walk too far..ugh!!

I am also going to put in a complaint to the hospital I went to Saturday morning, as this isn't the first time I have been sent home after going to them with abdominal pains - the last time I never got seen either, the doctor just said oh it isn't a miscarriage as you aren't showing as pregnant, basically he said go home and don't bother us. Well guess what I was rushed in later that day with a miscarriage. Hubby wanted to complain then but I said not to..wish I had now.

So as you can see I am bored, and writing a novel..lol. Oh and silently cheering you on from the corner and doing what I can while sitting down..

    Morning All

    So far this morning I've:

    Emptied the TD
Hung washing on the line (don't suppose it'll be dry though by the time the next wash is finished:rolleyes:)
    Reloaded the WM

Quincy's on at 7.25 so I'm thinking I'll watch that while I'm doing some ironing. Other than that, we're going to visit my Grandma this morning and then the kids have got a party 1-3 so that's most of the day spoken for. I have stuff to do for work which is still sitting in my boot from Friday:rolleyes: so I need to do some of that as well.

Natty - hope you're felling better soon - make sure you take it easy.

jjef - hope the cold's gone this morning - I think you've passed it on to me!

Greenbee - I've given up biscuits for Lent - so far I haven't had any apart from 1 last wekkend which the kids had made so I couldn't really not have one - so doing quite well especially seeing as there's a big tub of biscuits permanently on the staffroom table!

Jo - hugs - please don't go - nobody wants you to leave.

Hope everyone has a good day

    Hugs to all

    Morning all

Natty68 -:eek::eek: That is dreadful. So glad you can use your OHs bupa. Yes, you must complain. Trouble is when you are in pain or dealing with a family medical crisis you don't have the spare energy to take on the health service.

lil_me - 'return purse and contents' vibes being sent. I also have study to do (and an assignment) so will think of you and pigpen and get down to it.

toots - lots and lots of 'positive health' vibes for you

mummyof5 - hugs for you and your DD

triker - hugs and 'healing' vibes for your OH It sounds really painful

hugs to anyone I have missed

Jo - please come back. I once upset someone on the 'daily' thread (can't even remember what I said now except I was objecting to someone else's post) and I got jumped on from a great height - and I mean jumped - big boots and all. I've never been back. We really are the best place to be.
