The rest however is a bit of a write off. I've been so busy this week, so next week I'm going to have to be more on the ball, and get cleaning!!
  • morning - Natty - take it easy and i hope you get some answers. we had a similar thing DH was admited to hosptial from GP but they sent him home a week later because they couldn't find what was wrong and told him pain could be psychological!!! thankfully we now know he has a rib problem and needs to see a thorasic (sp) surgeon. we had to fight a bit like you and OH are doing but got there in the end. Good luck with yours and hope you don't feel too demoralised by rubbish A&E doc

Lil-me fingers crossed it turns up - poor you, try not to beat yourself up about it too much

Right, i am off to sort washing and floor debris!!!

    Morning

Thanks Crafty, we're getting there, unfortuately my OH got a little grumpy last night, think the not smoking grumps kicked right in but happily for him I resisted the urge to throttle the living daylights out of him and he's just off making me a coffee at the mo.:D

    Chickens are released and fed.

DD2 has been sick and needed a bit of tlc, so I've sent her back to bed and will have to monitor. She wasn't well yesterday so I knew something was coming.

My big kitchen window looks lovely and clean, nice feeling and it occurred to me that this year may be the very first whereby 'spring cleaning' is happening before the event ifswim.:D

Natty, sorry to hear that you are'nt being properly cared for at the hospital. Really not acceptable, I'd pursue a complaint because it sounds like they have a policy of fobbing you off. Hope the painkillers give you some respite from the pain.
Just thought, a friend of mine has extreme stomach pain and insisted they open her up, morphine wasn't touching it, nothing showed on x rays. Anyway one emergency op later they found a cyst hiding between some layers of muscle, she had been in agony for weeks prior. Docs remarked how highly unusual it was..... Just goes to show that sometimes you have to put your foot down.

Jo honey, don't leave, hoping you'll see this and your other messages and come back.:hello:

On the positive side if he is thinking about the fact that he isn't smoking it may mean that he is feeling better and not occupied with the pain IYSWIM.
He must be passed the point when he has nicotine in his system by now so it is probably the habit of smoking that is getting to him.

Just checked - it's 48 hours to get the nicotine out of your system

Natty sounds like terrible treatment you receveid (or didn't receive!) at A&E, I hope BUPA find out what is wrong quickly so that you can recover and be pain free soon.

Looks like a lovely morning here, Sunday school first and then homework for SW's 3 and 5.

Hoping to get some flying done somewhere along the way. My dots are still joined up at the mo, wanting to add another couple.

Oooh interesting, I didn't realise nicotine left the system so quickly.

Yep its definately the habit, thats what he said that he doesn't know what to do with his hands and as long as he is occupied he'll be ok.:D
