Doing a HHC before I go to bed. Anyone want to join in?0
-
One load of washing now out on the line, and another in the WM. Just located small black furry under the bed as he was scared when OH started up the lawnmower. Off to make a drink in a minute as I'm really thirsty, then I must make a start on the washing up and then make the soup or there won't be anything for lunch.

embb - it's just something my Mum used to make. Skin a pack of sausages, cut them into threes and lay them in the bottom of an ovenproof glass dish (I used a shallow long dish). Pour over a tin of chopped tomatoes and then top with mashed potato like you would a cottage pie. Then bung it in the oven on about 180C for an hour or so. I use a shallow dish so there is more area of potato to get crispy!
I like it because you can make it early when you've got the time and then just turn the oven on later.
I have to smirk at the idea of me being calm. If you could hear me ranting/crying you wouldn't say that. But I only do that when I'm on my own......0 -

I am in awe of you amazing lot - 2 hours of ironing BEFORE 9.30!! Washing done, cleaning, a whole days work done before I have managed to unstick my eyelids.
I have the desire to get it done, but plans seem to go out the window! I'm begining to think I need a Fly Sponsor - kind of like AA but for housekeeping! All offers gratefully received:A FLY FIRST, KNIT LATER :A0 -
Morning All.
Jo glad to see you are back
Will DH has dropped DS and Dd off. Wasn't happy as I have asked him to print some photos of DS for school. Don't see why I should have to do all of it
Pollybear we have sausage pie today (using veggie sausages). We have sausage, beans and mash. Nice and easier but don't know how long I can leave it in the oven before I want to eat it all
Feeling a little lost at the moment. Sundays always seem to be the worst. Just sitting around not doing a lot. I get up and do stuff but .... think it must be my time of the month because have been feeling down the last couple of days. I wish I could give myself a kick up the !!!!! and snap out of it.
Thank Juliejim. Read your post this morning about doing the ironing and did the ironing while watching a film. Job done :jJanuary Grocery 11/3740 -
Was about to declutter another coffee and sort my underbed boxes out when the sound of a spattering waterfall hit my ears.:o

Pollybear I make a similar dish to yours which my Dad used to make, but in between the tomato and the potato, I put a layer of dried basil. We have this as a quick and easy dinner with baked beans. I use mashed veggie sausages (cauldron lincolnshire) in ours as I'm vegetarian.
