Well my HHWU didn't happen as OH and MIL were talking in the back garden and I joined in. Did however make up my lunch for Monday minus the soup which has yet to be made.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

  • Afternoon all - after lots of procrastinating, I've finally recorded my TMA (and accidently wiped the best version, wouldn't you know ) - now have only got to work out how to send it, then I'm cooking on gas :D

Feel much better after 2 days of lie ins, and am almost cheerful about the prospect of getting up at the crack of dawn tomorrow to let 3 plasterers create mayhem (well I did say almost).

My friend has made me a Bach remedy to pep me up so I'm taking that with crossed fingers. Hope to be around more next week.

Hugs to everyone on here - haven't had chance for a catch up yet, will try at work.

Best get some slap on and into my uniform - have a good 'un girlies x
    I'd rather be watching CSI!

Afternoon all, the kids are with their dad today so i have cleaned the kitchen window inside and out(some brats had smeared banana all over the outside, i do wonder where their parents think they are late at nite  , i have lived in this street for 12 yrs and although it is not the best area i have never had any problems but these kids are driving me to the edge  ) anyway on with the list, blinds are down and one set are in the wm with the throws off the sofa, next set will go in with the cushion covers (in 5 mins) have even washed the things that connect the blind(?), have also cleaned the outside of the living room windows(will do inside after my coffee). Dailys are done, kids have bathed and DD has been de-loused(i do wish some parents would keep checking their childrens hair on a regular basis  ), have s+s the bathroom and kitchen(also washed cooker hob) am going to hoover and mop the floors then am off to a mates for lunch......sorry for the ranting post but some things just really do get to me.

Hugs for all that need, want or like them.

elly - you're doing fantastically well... much better than me :o

12 chocolate cupcakes made, 2 chocolate cakes in the oven. Kitchen, hall and loo floors hoovered (will mop after lunch). Washing on line (one lot done, one lot still drying)... I'm not doing anymore until this lot is dry, although I do need to start soaking some of the really grubby things

Off to do some washing up while I wait for the cakes to finish, then lunch, floors and yet more laundry...

DD1 'studying' which appears to be a euphenism for 'watching tv and NOT studying!
