WM x 2, TD x 1, I have also cleared the 2nd half of the stairs of books either waiting to be read or recycled one way or another! Hoovered stairs and window sill half way up :rotfl: and hall. So another dot joined up :D Just got to rehome the stuff from the twist of the stairs :o it's mostly toys that Miss A & W have out grown. Am wondering if we can organise a toy relay to Joahnne (or anyone else with 1-2 yo children). There are some good toys there which I would rather rehome to someone I know (Vtech etc) Let me know if anyone can help.

... dump all done (greenbee everything I took was being recycled in some way or other).

Glad to hear you're pre-empting my questioning! Well done on making the effort rather than just shoving the stuff in the ordinary bin every week!

Cakes are cooling, white washing is soaking in bleach (eco chlorine-free bleach obviously ;) ) ready to go into the machine and soup is warming for lunch.

ETA - better do my physio while I'm waiting for the soup... funny how having stuff in my siggy makes me get on and do it!

Soappie which variety of spuds are you growing?

Dog and I went out for a walk then stopped off at B&Q on the way back. I bought myself a four tier greenhouse thingy, some more seeds and some sad looking pansies that were reduced. I shall give them some loving care and attention in the pots by the french doors.

Just having a bowl of soup then it's back out into the garden

Jo - no one took it the wrong way, it was just making sure that it didn't get into a discussion which might have got heated! Hopefully the link that someone posted to the thread on dealing with cats in the garden will be helpful. I have the same problem myself and have been told that the answer is to get your own cat

I'm glad you're back too- and I have a cat who must drive my NDN mad...and I DO try. She is encouraged to use my garden - and discouraged from going next door.
Someone mentioned a water pistol - or a jif lemon full of water. But you need to catch 'em.

:mad:Why do my kids find dirty washing on a Sunday:mad:.
Well I don't care how important it is - if it was important they shouldn't have left it lying around since Friday. Cos it won't get washed now until Wednesday night. Not my problem:D

Afternoon all! It's gorgeous down here today - washing drying on the line and I've been out for a walk and didn't need a coat :D

toots - thank you but I don't have a photo of it and taking one now wouldn't be much use!!! And Guitar Hero is a game where you use a simplified guitar controller to play the notes on the screen at the right time! This might explain it better http://www.amazon.co.uk/Guitar-Hero-III-Wireless-Controller/dp/B000X1BF2S/ref=pd_sim_vg_h__5

soappie / Triker - all this talk of Gordon and Henry just makes me think of Thomas the Tank Engine  :rotfl:

Natty - huge hugs; take it easy and definitely complain

casleigh - hugs; hope it gets sorted soon

jo - glad you're sticking with us :D

    Im sorry.

No one upset me personally, and i didnt think that Soappie was having a go at me earlier. I know that cats are cats and really there isnt really much the owner can do about it anyway, short of following the cat round with a pooper scooper!! I wouldnt do anything bad to the cats (theres about 5 of them) - I was just having a moan....im sorry. I stood in it cutting the grass, my tools got covered in it digging up the weeds, it wasnt pleasant.

I was upset that i seemed to have upset everyone else, which is something i would never do and try to aviod confrontation at all costs. You are all so lovely, and I had thought that all the cat owners would know me better than to think i was having a go at them personally - which i know you know i wasnt. But yes, i do know what some of the other threads are like, and for the same reasons, I very rarely post anywhere else - only if i have a question about a challenge really!! And i only post if i recognise some of the names from here!!!

I wont say anything stupid again (hopefully) and i am sorry x

hi silly moo :hello: - is the iron hot?!?! :D

More bags of stash, stashed in shed.

    DW X 1 again.

Potatos prepped for tea, pork in remoska. Peelings being cooked for chickens.

Cleared out the cutlery drawer that annoys me every time I open it. I have a kleptomaniacs thang going on with sachets from anywhere where you can get them free. I get them, put them somewhere and never use them.;)

I usually am alerted to their whereabouts when the vinegar has rotted through the sachet, or the tomato ketchup explodes or in the case of the cutlery drawer, the marmite splodges everywhere.

Anyway, I've cleaned it thoroughly and joy of joys discovered that my cutlery thing holder expands!!! I never knew this and was strangely overjoyed to discover this function. :rotfl:Anyway, all sorted and cleaned.

    60 thing fling completed.

Need coffee and a sit down before I hoover of front room.

Washing up all done (OH washed up and I dried and told him what needed to be redone as he's not very good at spotting bits that haven't washed off properly).

Soup has been half made - just waiting for it to cool down a little bit before I blitz it.

Washing on the line is nearly dry and any dry bits have been put away - just one load to hang up in a minute but think I'll do that after we've eaten the soup as I'm starving!

So, my list looks like this:

Mondays are Marvellous!! - kitchen and dining area
    Level One
    Mop the floor
    Wonderful Weekend!
    1. [strike]Wash up[/strike]
    2. [strike]Make soup[/strike]
    3. [strike]Finish all of the washing[/strike]
    4. Put all the clean laundry away
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.
