Dear LofL, glad you are doing ok.

I am very sad today, as saying goodbye to my dog who is nearly 15 and has been with me since she was 6 months old. She has just stopped eating or wanting to go out and her back legs have pretty much stopped working.

Sorry to be so downbeat.

Morning everyone.

Just had breakfast and thinking about what Im doing today. Im night shift so will try and get a couple of hours sleep this afternoon. Going to nip out to the shops and bank then make a curry and tackle weekend list. I only watched a little of Comic Relief for reason someone mentioned before. One minute they wanted you laugh then change emotions. I also get really annoyed that in this day and age a lot of people here as well as abroad are not having even their basic needs met. Sorry will get off my soap box.

Have washed cat blanket.
Need to wash uniform trousers.

Couldn't agree more, having counted 10 multi millionaires without trying last night I did take umbrage that yet again we are subjected to some extremely graphic audio and images, my 12 DD was watching it but I switched it over after a while as she was getting so upset.

Beyond that we have many issues closer to home ie the Bulgarian babies that are left starving in orphanages and government institutions....don't get me started.:o

Emily, I do know how you feel, that audio brought back a particular nasty memory from many years ago, (ex) funny how it all came back so graphically...not nice, please don't let it re traumatise you, you got out of your situation and have a lovely OH so give him a cuddle and smile and get on with your day sweetie. xx

Good morning everyone,:hello: hope you are all ok. I'm feeling a lot better than yesterday head and body wise. I did get up a few times in the night as had severe belly ache so took some painkillers and managed to get back to sleep eventually.

So I have a list somewhere and will have a shufty and see what I can manage today.

OH is a lot better too, sore but better, struggling re the non smoking but hanging in there.:T

Off to declutter another cup of coffee and catch up and devise a list, catch you all in a bit.:D

DS2 is in great form....Thank you all for asking!!!
He woke me up this morning with a big cup of coffee, and all the kids came in with their cards:D

Thank you lady liberty:D.....getting the house sorted out now...everyone is arriving at around 9 tonight!! Need to get the choclate for the fondeau set;)...all the alcohol is in!!! Music is downloading as I type and my phone is going nuts!! I think I may have invited too many people!! They are all confirming now, asking what they should bring.....pavolova, cocktail sausages, wine all sorted so far!!

mumof5 I was 17 when I had DS1, it was the first thing that made me grow up!! He never lost out on anything:)....And I have grown up with him!! he wasnt a summer baby though:) he was born on christmas eve!!!! He happily tells anyone that he was my christmas present!!
