i am very proud of you tho for doing 14 items!!! :T0 -
Happy Birthday Mof4!!! Enjoy your party... we're looking forward to hearing all about it when you're finally recovered tomorrow!
Emily - it's great that you feel you can talk to us, and I hope it will help you while you're waiting for your counselling. Remember that we don't judge anyone (well, apart from Valli and her peculiar ironing & peg obsession) and there is always someone here to listen if you need them.
I've now cleaned the utility room floor (it'll probably need another go before I polish it), brought in the first load of washing, hung out the second (as it still hasn't decided to rain and it's nice and blowy), and put the third in the WM  DW is emptied and reloaded. Hoover has been emptied, but I won't do the filters until the house has been cleaned. Bed is stripped and bedding is in the queue for the machine. The sheets are very grubby as I've been using rosehip oil on my legs in the evening, and it leaves nasty greasy marks on the sheets, so I think they might get a soak in something first!
Lots to do, so I'd better get on with it!
ETA - well done Jo - I could see m0Zzy's pic... it was a very fierce looking character - it appeared to be baguette?!n - and was clearly very impatient!0 -

This morning so far: WM on x 2 (whites and now the towels) DW emptied. Odds and bits of shopping done round town (paper plates for the holiday, bin bags, bird seed). Dad's birthday card dropped in. Windows washed outside on the front of the flat. I'm all out of energy for the back! OH has hoovered and helped with general cleaning. Sun is now out and the door is open to let some air in - lovely! Still can't make up my mind whether to go to the rugby this afternoon - it's an important match for the lads but it will mean more photos to process tonight and I'll have a busy week photography-wise this week.
I'm really pleased with how wel I've done this week actually - thanks for all the support & inspiration!! :T

It was a hot Saturday evening in the summer of 1960 and Fred had a date with Sue. He arrived at her house and rang the bell.
'Oh, come on in!' Sue's mother said as she welcomed Fred in. 'Have a seat in the living room. Would you like something to drink? Lemonade? Tea?' 'Tea, please,' Fred said. Mum brought the tea..
'So, what are you and Sue planning to do tonight?' she asked.
'Oh, probably catch a movie, and then maybe grab a bite to eat at the Wimpy Bar, maybe take a walk on the beach..
'Sue likes to screw, you know,' Mum informed him.
'Really?' Fred replied; eyebrows rose.
'Oh yes' the mother continued. 'When she goes out with her friends, that's all they do!'
'Is that so?' asked Fred, incredulous. 'Yes,' said the mother. 'As a matter of fact, she'd screw all night if we let her!'
'Well, thanks for the tip!' Fred said as he began thinking about
alternative plans for the evening.
A moment later, Sue came down the stairs looking pretty as a picture
wearing a pink blouse and a hoop skirt, and with her hair tied back in a bouncy ponytail. She greeted Fred.
'Have fun, kids!' the mother said as they left.
Half an hour later, a completely dishevelled Sue burst into the
house and slammed the front door behind her.
'The Twist, Mum!' she angrily yelled to her mother in the kitchen.
'The dance is called the Twist!Official Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0 -

AnW'sMum good that W is listening to his new teacher - he will come on leaps and bounds now!
emily I hope you get your counselling organised and maybe then you will be able to help your Mum - hitting your partner is not acceptable - maybe its good that your Dad is frightened if your DH - it might stop him being hard on your Mum - its your Dad that needs the help. You are a very brave lady to carry that burden around.
not done a lot since I was last on - just been putting things away and had a nap - was soo tired.
feel brighter now so going to have some food and go out for some fresh air.
toots xx
