  • Apologies to Triggerrabitt for hijacking but I thought that I would just duck the bullets to relate a similar tale that happened to me in our local Tescos.

To be honest, most of the till operators are extremely pleasant but there were two that have obviously failed their charm school exams. Unfortunately last week I found the third.

I had a fair amount of shopping and when asked how many bags I had I replied “These two Tesco cloth bags but since my wife is a fussy vegetarian, could I please have a carrier bag to put the meat in”

Without removing her stare from me she punched the till twice and when the meat arrived she picked each piece up and then put them separately in thin bags and knotted them precisely, again fixing me with her purposeful glare.

Well she won and I didn’t get my precious carrier bag. Then I checked my receipt and found that she had credited me with having twenty two bags.

Try as I might, I could not feel guilty.

It is interesting that on another thread where you poked fun at Argos employees Tozer asked you what YOU did for a living but you neglected to reply to him. Care to share now? Or were you lying about the £1000. In previous posts you claim to have worked somewhere dealing with DVDs and a stationers - "obviously" you got promoted but to what????e.

If you read it properly you wil see that I worked there "in a previous life" before I got a career.
What I do for a living has nothing to do with you or anyone else and I couldn't give a fudge whether you believe my salary or not.
Finally, to drag up posts from months ago just to try and prove some pathetic point means you have a very low opinion of yourself.

P.S. I never got my PM.....Was I not worthy.
