• I popped into Traid on my lunch, they are still doing their sale £3 for most items except jackets and dresses, I felt a bit disappointed that I didn’t see anything I liked :( so on the way back popped into another shop and picked up some great bits! Got a silvery patterned dress by zara which fits really well £4.50, a stripy slouchy knitted top by topshop £4 and a silk monsoon dress size 18 for my mum for £8. I hope it fits here, she usually wears a 14-16 so if its too big I may have to stick it on EBay, although Im not sure how well it will sell

  • Hi flipper, I go to the main car boot sales in Barnstaple, which are between the town and Braunton. They are on wed and sun 1-4pm, the saturday one was in Landkey which was hard to get through, 1 lane tracks across the country!? apparently its easier to get to from barnstaple town, on the A361

    hope that helps!

i had only had 50p left in my purse (to my name at this moment in time actually!), so i decided to check out the 50p rail in my local charity shop. i didn't see anything so i decided to look around to see the latest stuff to be put out. and trust my luck to find a gorgeous blazer which fits me perfectly, brand new with tags on (but with no original price) for six pounds! i practically begged him to keep it for me till tomorrow, but he said he could only keep it till the end of today as he would not be working today. i had to beg my mum for some money, AND then change up a five euros note (oh what looks i got) just to afford it.

and then i looked online and it's woth £45! great bargain me thinks :)

I got the most gorgeous wool winter jacket from Wallis today in my favourite charity shop. It still has the tags on (£65) - for the grand total of £3.

I almost wish it was cold so I could wear it :D
