  • Couldn't find much I liked today at all.I must have bought it all already:o.

I only bought one item,a poole pottery planter for £4.Trying to find info on it online but no success yet.

I have a shelf of brown/beige/cream studio pottery in front room so it will fit nicely in there.

Does anyone know anything about poole designs, its got a number printed on bottom 495,signed ABJ with a D under and the design looks like finger painted catkins. If anyone can help me identify it please do.

  • got a bargain on tuesday in local PDSA

5 bags of costume jewellery earrings - some clip on some very very plasticy
with a few broaches mixed in - all £1 each bag. Its filled a big amazon box to the brim!!

Going to sort out the ones I like then think of how best to ebay them.... job lots? individual? at least with free listings for 10 days I can just get them on!!!

they had more and more necklaces (which I had bought before) but couldn't carry them and had enough as it was!! I think they get them from a wholesale place as ex stock!!
    SPC5 #1651 total so far: £78.59

I was really lucky and bought a Longchamp medium shopper for £1.25 and a Moschino bag for £2.00.

The Longchamp one is genuine. I am still researching the Moschino one. It is black ruched leather, quite unusual, with poppers all around the middle.

I have a huge collection of poole pottery, most picked up from boot sales and auctions, i managed to get a huge purse vase last week from a charity shop for 15.00 and a damaged delphis wear vase from the tip for 50p. Is your planter white or brightly coloured?

    Hi gang,

Just a quickie, I am trying to plan a car boot sale soon, and looking for the best one to sell at in London and surrounds, we dont think battersea is going to be big enough, and we have A LOT of stuff, bags and bags of clothes, books cds etc. I dont want much for what Ive got but need to see it go I just cant take this anymore im drowning in stuff !

Any recommendations for the busiest London ones on a sunday where im guaranteed to shift a LOT of gear!
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

I did my first car boot sale in years today.I was a bit dissappointed with the amount I sold but despite spending about £15 on things from other stalls I still made about £30 after taking off my spending and stall fee.
I bought a massive framed print of a harbour scene in nice cobalt blue and red colours, very vibrant, cost me £4,An old ET toy for £2 which someone offered my OH £10 for a few minutes later as it was sitting in the boot and they spotted it,he said NO,I could have killed him!I also got a weird looking nordic vase for £1.50,I like weird looking pottery for some unfathomable reason.
The weather was great and we had a nice enough day so I will do it again next week.Must get much more stuff looked out to take though as my 3 big boxes of bits looked a little mean once it was on the table.Everyone else stalls looked like they were struggling with the weight of the junk on top.My stall was far too tidy in comparison.

Its white with branches in black and the decoration in brown(looks like it was applied by finger painting). It looks like it was probably made about late 70,s to me so quite modern.
